Akiyama sure was a help! The whole trick behind the card thingy was predictable, and Nao managed to get up to 80 votes, but something's wrong here, didn't she sign that she'll pay each parter 70 million yen? and she signed LGT checks with other players, not only the first one, so where is she gonna get a whole bunch of 70 million ?

After the result of the 9th round is announced, the payment will be made in the last 1 hour before the 10th round begins. Eight people do not reach the 50 votes needed to ascertain victory. (all of them already gave 10 votes to Nao, so at most they only had 41 votes). On the other hand, Kanzaki Nao alone passed into the safe place with 30 votes over. IMO, she can sell them the remaining 30 votes to gain money.So, whoever wants to survive in that game, they need to buy the votes from Nao.

I'm surprised the drama is actually following the manga and going into the 3rd round. I guess because of the 3 hr finale, now they'll have time to cover everything in the manga instead of just coming up with their own alternative for the next 3 episodes. So even though they'll still have to come up w/ an alternate ending; it probably won't suck as much, I hope. BTW, now I understand why the writers have to add the 1 billion yen price for the winner of the resurrection round, which would have changed the whole strategy to the game. They thought the manga has a plot hole; because Nao only has 9 billion yen to distribute at the end, they thought she'd have come up short w/o incurring debt herself. But they forgot about the 1 billion yen that would be shared by the remaining 8 people, so instead of returning 1 billion yen to each person, she only has to return 87.5 M, and everyone would come out even in the end. Now the people entering the 3rd round actually ended up w/ an additional 12.5M yen.

GOSH, Akiyama is freaking brilliant! D: But honestly, I don't get it. If she has to make the payment during the period between the 9th and 10th round, then doesn't she still have to pay them? Or will she just be getting the money back because she's selling her extra 30 votes to them? But if she tricks them out of the M note thing, won't that be a breach of contract? Because, even though its a Liar Game, she's still breaching the rules of the notes, right? ...or? But I still remember one of my favourite lines. HAHA! "Akiyama-san falls under Kanzaki-san's personal belongings."

Hi, I am wondering , i saw episode 8 , and at the end there is a commercial about 3 hours Final episode of Liar game ( i think at the end of june). Can anybody tell what does it mean?
there will be a liar game episode this week right? Or there is only the final episode left, which is going to be aired at the end of june?

hmm i'm pretty sure it just means that the final episode will be extended to three hours. Liar game SHOULD be shown as per normal for the next two weeks.

episode 7 was awesome. nao-chan just got on my nerves a little.

Akiyama is a genius, but of coz it is because the scriptwriter made him one. You see even with 80 votes, Nao could have fail in selling off her votes if the 8 of them gang up against her. It is pretty easy, they just need to consolidate their votes and since only 1 get disqualify, they can ensure that the disqualifier get reimburse so that he/she would not be in a debt. Subsequently, Nao will be in deep trouble since she owes each player 70mil yen payable before round 10. But well, this is just a drama so of coz the hero will win Anyway it is quite predictable that Nao will choose to vote for Mr Mushroom Head (Fukunaga). It is suppose to be a "predictable" twist that happens every so often in dramas. Although it is a good drama, I just hate the fact that Nao is so kind. I mean she even lets off Fukunaga Even though he tricked her so many times and not to mention that he is so annoying. If put into her shoe, I believe no one will do that.
