I will also be scanning more magazines that feature Maki in them so please look forward to them. However, you'll need to wait until July to see those scans since I won't be online for a month. I'm sure that once the first round of Hana-Kimi promos starts popping up, this thread will get busier. I'm just waiting on the fansubs for Seito Shokun to be completed. The thing is, Maki's busy, but aside from the upcoming Hana-Kimi and Love on Sunday finally being released, her big projects are a year away.
I'm just really excited about Hana-Kimi, and I can't wait to see how she and the entire cast look in their school uniforms.

haa...it's kinda great that she took up this role. i've not seen her in other hairstyles...except for the long long hair in hinokio...so i'm looking forward to her new haircut as mizuki

Filming for secondary characters began on May 31st, with promo pictures taken on the 30th. Assuming that filming for an episode for Seito Shokun takes a week and then airs the week after, Maki-chan could be done with her role as early as the 15th of June, if they're working on an episode ahead type of schedule. Unless they started earlier than I thought, in which case, she might be done already - but no press releases or photographs have been released about Maki getting her hair cut, so I don't think so.

I got the news from Tokyograph: Kurosagi is being made into a film, and of course Maki-chan's attached to it. I know a few of you didn't like Kurosagi very much...but I loved it, and anyway.....

Tomohisa Yamashita of NEWS has been given his first starring role in a movie. The film is based on the "Kurosagi" drama series that aired on TBS last spring. Yamashita and several others, including Maki Horikita and Yui Ichikawa, will reprise their roles from the drama. Yasuharu Ishii has been named as director, and the film is slated for release next spring.

It's a bit low-fi looking and it has that horrendous Avril Lavigne song in the background, but it confirms that Maki cut her hair and well...she is kawaii-chan in all her forms, no?
