dymmamie, there's an lj community that does summaries of dramas called doramasums. Alternatively, people sometimes post summaries at the news_jpop lj comm.
So, I assume everyone's heard of Shige being in a summer drama? Well, he's finally got something of his own, and I hope that his acting has improved, though from the tentative summaries that I've read, the drama doesn't seem to be the kind that I would like... though I'll keep my mind open _________________

Tomohisa Yamashita of NEWS has been given his first starring role in a movie. The film is based on the "Kurosagi" drama series that aired on TBS last spring. Yamashita and several others, including Maki Horikita and Yui Ichikawa, will reprise their roles from the drama. Yasuharu Ishii has been named as director, and the film is slated for release next spring.
ahh a movie would be good XD i think a drama will be a tad too draggy.. And hopefully *prays hard* it will be shown in my country.. Like deathnote, kurosagi is based on a manga right XD
although a new single for yamapi is very likely, somehow i wish for a NEWS single much more... Ah things would be very different if i'm a bigger yamapi fan though >< but arghh currently i can't stand the thought of any more external groups outside NEWS (though for the case of yamapi, it would sell MUCH better).

Well then I shall be selfish too. From the viewpoint of a 4TOPS fan who got ripped off one of her favourite groups for the sake of some temporary group called NEWS, I vouched for TomaPi! _________________

yeah a collaboration with pi will be the best and most effective way to bring toma back into the spotlight and it would be something that pi will like. i wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't mind doing a permanent duo with toma (i'm sure toma's place is higher than NEWS anytime). '
i'm perfectly fine if it's just a temporary duo but anything beyond that is a no-no. Who knows we'll end up with just ryo with k8 (haha WD that's what you're hoping for yeah ) , tegomass going as a duo, yamapi with toma. What's NEWS for then? A friendly gathering place for pple belonging to different groups?
NEWS is my very first fandom (i was anti whatever sorts of entertainment in the past) hence i don't wish to see them broken up. (ironically, i know their formation resulted in many grps being broken up).
If i had gotten into JE a couple of years earlier, I'm sure my view today would have been alot different. but well, the truth is i only got into JE after the suspension of NEWS, and i am currently a NEWS-fan
As Yamapi's fans, I am happy to see Yamapi finally got a chance to debut a CD w/ Toma!! That's his wish since high school!! Although Yamapi almost going to graduate from college, but late better than never happen. So it's still be very wonderful if TomaPi really release a CD this year!! And happy for Toma, after struggling as a Jr. for over 10yrs, when he keep standing aside and see the other Jrs debut while he's more qualified and deserved a debut than any younger Jr........it's not just Yamapi's dream comes true, but also Toma's dream comes true, and their fans's dream comes true. Along w/ the news of Kurosagi movie next Spring, today's news are all good news!!

Yeah, I'm a fan but I think its enuff of subgroups..*just my personal opinion* * I think now I'm a bigger NewS fan..love NewS more than their members So, I wish they will have more activities together since they reunite rather than forming new subgroups..
and i wonder if Pi can cope with all this.. what a busy life
