I havent watched much ryoko hirosue dramas. Try to look at the review for these dramas if they are worth watching:
- Shotgun marriage
- Beach boys (Got the vcd but havent watched it yet)
Until now, besides Summer snow, the one i like starred Ryoko Hirosue is My Ex (Moto Kare)

on a side note: hey tight satorare is pretty good... not GREAT but enjoyable none the less.. just don't hope for a specttacular ending... think of a hotman kind of endidng ...but it is worth watching.. just my 1 cent (not 2 cents cuz i'm broke and i'm trying to save my change ...i'm such a poor bastard)
I want some opinion/review on satorare and "power of love". I have already checked the respective drama pages on this board, just want to get more input from you peeps.
Power of Love a must-see! Love it, especially the chemistry between the 2 leads
Sounds good, thx for the recommendation. The script writer is the one who also did Itsumo futari de. I will definitely check it out then.
Sakaguchi Kenji is definitely more adorable in Power of Love
Think the script writer also wrote Yamato, at least the opening scenes
are quite similar & some of the actors - Shinichi Tsutsumi, Nishimura Masahiko & Yada Akiko also starred in Yamato. Hope that you will like this show

That's right, the same script writer did episode 5 and 8 of Yamato. Thanks again for the recommendation, I will definitely check it out.
That's her. She started out as a singer and artist.

I watched beachboys, The last song, summersnow, long vacation and lipstick starring Hirosue Ryoko.
In last song, she acted as a ghost and only made appearance in a chapter waiting for her boyfriend on a bridge every night.
In Long vacation, she was only has few appearance as student of Kimura. I only noticed it when I rewatched long vacation.
In Beachboys, she was a carefree, simple school girl in a small quiet seaside inn with grandpa. Until the boys came in, having funky times like; throwing Hirosue in seawater, splashing water, playing beach ball, shaking beer cans and get beers over the boys. If you like the summersnow you will like this too.
In Lipstick, she is seen as a fallen angel turned violent to protect herself. I like her charactor in this drama, so cool in white. I like the way she let go her breath to sway her hair.
I like all her appearances in beachboys, lipstick and summersnow, I voted all these dramas and watched at least twice each.
For movie, try Poppoya-Railroad Man. She acted as daughter of the railroad man. A touching ending.
Hey!
I really enjoy watching dramas but I don't know of very many. ^ ^() What do you guys suggest? And if you do suggest any, could you tell me alittle about it quickly? And maybe some famous actors/actresses?
A love story between a young man who has been forced to grow up too quickly, and a young woman with an ailment that has placed restrictions on her life. Natsuo (Domoto Tsuyoshi) has been looking after his younger brother and sister since the death of their parents. He has also been running the family bicycle shop. Yuki (Hirosue Ryoko) becomes the only person in the world in whom he can confide. For Yuki, Natsuo becomes the catalyst that has her trying to break out of her cocoon.
Kiku TV
the dorama that stayed in my heart until now.. somehow funny, somehow sad and somehow happy.
Well... i'm pretty much a newbie also... but when i first started watching, i just went down the list of "top dramas," and everything so far has been great... GTO, Summer Snow (personal favorite), Beautiful life, Long Vacation.
Just finished Long Vacation today actually, i think i am going to start "good luck" soon.
