started to feel something f0r Mizuki and he thought he's turning.. And that "pink" aura was just hilarious! "I LOVE WOMEN!" And oh! That "diverted" kiss almost made me shriek (in shock or excitement..? ) good thing i immediately help up one hand to my mouth or else...

AHHH! Now I know the name of the actor who played Sekime-kun!!! OKADA MASAKI-- daisuke!!!

but it's good plot... story's picking up pace now..

I liked that, it's not how it happened in the manga and I much prefered it this way ^_^

Hmm...This is my first time replying to this thread and I know that I heard many comparing this jdrama to the Taiwanese one (my friends esp). But to me it's 2 different drama. Taiwanese one tend to make it too comical (and at times can be pretty annoying) while the jdrama is bringing out the aspect of real life as well as some comical elements mixed together. And of course I enjoyed every single bit of the jdrama interpretation.

And at least Mizuki sort of have a reason why she's there rather than being a nosy fangirl

And I know how poeple commented that they "destroyed" the whole plot from the manga...well think again, do you think it's possible to put all the elements in the manga (which has 23 vols) into 12 episodes? Of course it's impossible. Even in Harry Potter movies, they tend to change it here and there <==sorry for the slight off topic but I'm trying to make my point here). At least the main gist of the story is there.
Plus, wathcing something very very similar that had just aired would be boring too isn't it? Also I always manage to figure out what happen next and it became boring after a while. It feels like why would I bother to watch when I know what's gonna happen next. So with a fresh plot, at least you can never expect what happen next.

As for the cast, I don't want to compare either becase both of them potray their own way based on the scripts (one being following the manga A-Z; and one being somewhat a brand new stand-alone drama). But I have to say that the jdrama cast did a superb job The guy who played Kayashima was awesome!

Only one thing though. I just don't get the necessary of those

I cant believe that Sano already knows that Mizuki is a girl. And I found it funny that the one stealing the underwear and bras was yujiro. Well he is a male dog yet it is still funny. I couldnt stop laughing at the lie detector and Nakatsu with the I love boys part. I loved it to death.

I have a question for everyone. Out of all the guys not including Sano (played by Oguri) who is your favorite guy in Hana kimi? For me it is Nakatsu. He is sooooo hott....i totally forgot he played in HYD2

At this point, Sano is supposed to know that Mizuki is a girl. It happens like that in the manga only I think he finds out when he accidently walks in on her taking a bath. At least I think it happens that way, it's been so long since I read the manga. I really loved that lie detector thing, too. Hilarious, especially when they were interrogating Nakatsu. Hehehe

So far, I'm liking this version way more than the Taiwanese version. The TW one was cute, but the girl playing Mizuki looked waaaayyyy too much like a guy.

Oh if you don't know I mean Kayashima (the Ghost Boy) I think he is SO fantastic as Kayashima I loved the bit with him and Nakatsu at the end of the second ep
