Are you burning at too high a speed?
Back off your burn speed (16X > 12X, 8X > 6X, etc.) to see if it remedies things...

I didn't even notice what speed it was on. I just used the default one that I've always been using and it hasn't really given me trouble until today. Maybe it's what I'm trying to burn....and maybe I should be posting this in the DVD recording or whachamacalit thread. _________________

Yup.
But you shouldn't burn faster than 8X, IMO... You chances for a bad burn seems to increase markedly.

Yes, I'm the queen of the thingamabobs.
And bleh. Another annoying thing is the damn weather. Too freaking hot. Yeesh...Yet another annoying thing is that I just realized that there's a stupid weather thread in this forum where I could've posted this insteadl. _________________

I know that I'm not online a lot when most people are. I just put it down to living in a different timezone to most Jdorama members. At least *gulp!* that's what I hope it is.

Does that mean I shouldn't say "Sugoi...!" anymore?

I use awesome all the time. I guess I could also change it to "I am in awe of..." whatever it is that is awesome. Yipes... I mean awe-inspiring...? _________________

Is that what Sugoi means?

Nah I meant ppl on TV using 'awesome' all the time. Especially on home decorating or renovation shows. It is as if they all turn into teenagers when they walk into a newly decorated room or renovated house.

Nah, people are avoiding you and Wyn-chan, keps
No, not really
I'm just (sorta) fortunate that i'm at work when most ppl are on. That's usually 8 solid hours. No wonder I have a high post count!

thats just my pov.

Yeah I know what you mean MD, but I'm talking about ppl in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and up using the word 'awesome' on TV as if it is the only adjective in their vocabulary when they enjoy something. The word 'awesome' always brings to mind a 'surfer dude' image whenever I hear it. I think it has been in use since the 1960s.
