kind of prefer not to download that drama because it'll take forever. I'd rather trade with someone who has it.

I finished "Jodan Janai!" last night.

And I know... I've said some snarky things about the earlier episodes of this show.

But now, having finished it, and after giving myself a little time for reflection, I've decided that this is a show with something to say to all of us.

This is a show about hope, about optomism.

This show is proof positive that any semi-literate, humorless boob can earn big bucks writing for Television.

What is this show saying? It's saying; Get out your crayolas and your Japanese translating dictionary, because there are obviously career opportunities available in Japan!

Can't write? Can't read? Not a problem. In fact, TBS has an office waiting just for you!

Ouch. I might have to stay clear of this one.

Oh, I see...hmm...well I've read so many lackluster reveiews of this dorama I don't have any motivation to watch it any time soon, if at all. Although I like Oda Yuji & Juri Ueno it seems notwithstanding their performances this wasn't a good dorama.

Tu_trick

I'm a big fan of Oda Yuji, Iijima Naoko, and Ohtake Shinobu. They are the reason I wanted to watch the show in the first place. I figured with talent like that on the screen there couldn't be much anyone could do to screw it up.

I was really really wrong.

This wasn't one of those horrible, shows that you put up as an example of shows you really hated.

It's just a piece of third rate hackery.

And it becomes even more annoying, more than simple "crap" when you see a really good group of actors having to wallow in this nonsense.

Point taken. Sounds like despite the talent on the show it just wasn't a good idea/story/script. It happens. Even the best actors can't save a bad idea. Too bad because when I heard who was in that show I was looking forward to it.

Yagyu Conspiracy, Episode 20.

Carefully metered out doses of whoopass by Chiba Shinichi... Great stuff.

the idea about mother in law and ex-girlfriend is good, but it's lack conflict between ueno juri's character and her mamon...^^ and one more thing, chemistry between oda yuji and ueno juri not so good.......i wonder why ueno juri hesitate to kiss oda yuji..Bleah jodan desu....!! Mr Green
but still it's worth to watch......ohtake shinobu (mamon), naoko ijima (famires manager) and taguchi hiromasa (the neighbour) doing great as supporting cast....and morisako ei (miren) is kawaii~~~

Joudan Janai is the only series I have ever stopped watching that I don't plan on going back to finish. By the time I got to the end of the fourth episode, it felt like such a chore to watch that I gave up. Like others have said, the cast had so much potential power behind it, but the chemistry between everyone was SO non-existent it's not even funny.

It's really disappointing because the last two series they were both in, Last Christmas and Nodame Cantabile, are two of my favorites. Maybe one day if there's no good doramas on the air, I'll go back to try to finish it, but I highly doubt it.

Working on Ushi ni Episodes 2-3 Tonight, whether my body gives up on me or not!

Well, depending on the site, it could range from 1-2 hours to download one episode and I just don't think that it's worth the time when I could be doing other things with my computer's resources (downloading stuff I want, working on my site, etc).

C'mon people! It's mouse and centipede-powered! Some of them just got out of hand, which is why I had to get the traps out. hehe

I know this guy was in a lot of good dramas, but I can't say that I like him as an actor. He has no emotional range from what I saw and reminds me of a piece of furniture. Or maybe I'm just being too harsh. Sad

right on, i understand. just go for the direct download then....shouldn't pose any such problems while you are multi-tasking.

A coffee table or an end table?

A barstool maybe?
