You mean she DOES look like a feminine boy OFF-screen, behind the scenes??? Haha... really?
When I saw her in Kurosagi, or other movie/drama, she's the very feminine type, very "girl". So many people who have read the manga or watched the Taiwanese drama, doubted she can play the tomboy Mizuki, well... But I think, she managed to act the part wonderfully, and Mizuki Ashiya is one my favorite Maki's character. She's talented. I loved her the most in ALWAYS movie(and the sequel will premiere on November 3rd, yay! More Maki!), her Tohoku dialect is excellent, just like a native^^ Also in Nobuta wo Produce...
She sucked in Kurosagi, but perhaps, that was the script's fault 
But...hmm... that makes me wonder... in the manga, is Mizuki really IS tomboy, even before she enter Osaka Gakuen?? Or she become tomboy, just because she HAS TO act like that, since its a boyschool?

IMO, she's got the guts of a boy to enter Osaka Gakuen and try to keep her identity from being discovered, but in her heart she's really a girl. I mean, just like in Episode 9 where she *I didn't think that really needed spoiler tags, but oh well, just to be safe*, she still does things that girls would normally do.

Too bad.  If you got to buy that shirt, I'd be TOTALLY jealous!
Why not just buy a plain green shirt and have the "I HAVE GREAT CHARACTER" line printed on it?
