Nothing wrong with plucking eyebrows... unless you get carried away as a male and start looking like a queen with thin strips across your forehead.

whoa... it'd be less bang for my buck since I'd probably have to pay for a hospital bill and stitches after such a night. heh

you guys are getting off topic...

i have to admit i'm a bit embarassed to admit that i recently started to pluck. have u guys ever seen kimutaku? particularly in good luck episode 6 when he meets what's her name at the 24hr restaurant. when he wakes up, u get a closeup of his eyesbrows. They're overly groomed in my opinion, but from a decent distance (3ft) they give him a "soft" look becuase I think it's partly drawn in.

anyway...i like the clean look groomed eyebrows gave him, so I did it to myself. I plucked one by one until i had a clean look, and even trimmed. i feel in the USA it's a bit early to start announcing that you've been plucking, but i'll keep doing it because i feel better about how look. i have to also admit that dramas and particularly takuya made me start....

I hear that shaving makes the hair grow back courser than before, similar to shaving your beard or mustache for the first few times.

Plucking doesn't have the same effect and when the hair grows back, it looks more natural.

that's an old-wives tale... that's proven not to be true.. the reason why hair come out thicker when u shave is cuz ur still growing... the hair would come out thicker even if u didn't shave.... and i've been sahving my eyebrows since highschool.. and the hair is the same.. still very fair-thin hair... so don't belive that myth about "hair growing back thicker" its not true

woah it's been 2 years since i checked this site. and i think i should bring it alive again for a bit.

anyways. i'm a straight guy and i pluck my eyebrows. i don't pluck them to make it look like a girls. i just pluck them to make them cleaner. and girls have negative comments and postive commetns. it's weird. some girls thinks it's cool and some think it's totally gay. plus theres not much difference in my eyebrows after plucking cuz i was born with already nice eyebrows. w00t!

This has got to be one of the stranger threads on this board.
