I can't remember which one was the first I saw nor which one got me hooked. The earliest ones I recall watching and liking were A Story of Love and Under One Roof.

The first JDorama I saw was probably the live episodes of some anime series, but the one that got me hooked had to be Yamato Nadeshiko.

So hard to say...I've been watching them since I was a kid! hehe Though I think my very first was a historical drama called "Saru" or "Child of the Sun." It aired in the mid-90's...

so you've been spoiled!!! u know the ending, right?
when I watched that... I always guessing who is the culprit... like 3 or 4 ppl... but neither one is the culprit at the end... and that makes me love the drama...

My first was Tokugawa sandai. I like samurai flicks, but many of the tv shows were far better. Musashi rocked!

Ummm... I don't know if I should be honest about my first favorite drama since it will give an idea of how old I really am but...

Gorilla 7 starring Chiba Shinichi & Shiomi Etsuko! (Hazukashii... Bleah )

Shiomi Etsuko was my idol! I stopped watching dramas after that for awhile and started up again after watching Yoruni Dakarete starring Higashiyama Noriyuki.
