I am going with Long Vacation and One Hundred Million Stars Falling From the Sky. In the former, he established his successful role (unfortunately kept the same role for every single other dramas afterwards). In the latter, he got an antagonist role and did it pretty well, good to see a change, and let me just say One Hundred Million Stars Falling From the Sky is just FANTASTIC, if you haven't seen it, you've got to!!! (the writer's previous efforts Sleeping Forest and Ice World are utter puppy poop comparing to this one). Just don't expect a happy love story.

I haven't seen all his dramas (espeically the earlier ones), but my faves are Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi and Nemureru Mori. His mysterious characters are so awesome and keep me glued to the screen. His acting in Good Luck is good too, even my guy friends admitted they were moved by the storyline.

Sora Karastic Furu Ichioku no Hoshi was fantastic. Good Luck was good, but I would be more moved if I haven't seen the same kind of roles he played in Beautiful Life, Long Vacation, Love Generation, too many to name. I think he needs to do more roles now like the one in Sora, since his popularity is declining too (his drama Pride didn't do that well). I guess most people have gotten tired of the similar roles.

the only thing about the dramas he is in is that the story is good, and the other characters bring out the story more.

No flame from me ... I was just thinking the other day why I didn't like KT's characters so much, and it's really because they are so moody and he doesn't smile enough.

As for me, when a character becomes so aloof and distant, I just canna identify, and so it is not as enjoyable a show.

He was a little more vulnerable and human in Long Vacation, so that's why that's my favorite of his dramas so far.

I like him from his new drama "Pride". Because I love Kimura and Takuchi. They're my favorite actor and actress. And they play drama together so Kawaii.

I've heard that Kaneshiro Takeshi likes to do that. He might do since he loves playing Playstation and hanging around in the internet for long time when he has free time.
