No one would grop YOU on the subway.
I didn't notice too many subway trips on that itinerary. If they had you on a commuter train with all the salarymen, they are doing something wrong anyhow

When we went to Europe we travelled A LOT by subway. I thought that was a good idea because it was more of a local environment.
When I was in Italy (two months), I was practically living like a local. I used to get on the bus every other day to get to the grocery story, and I remember once being sandwiched between two older guys (they musta been in their late 20s, and I was 19-20). That was the first time I was ever "molested" and I've had a fear of subways ever sense. I mean, it's fun to joke about it and all, but when the space is crowded, my fists are clenched the entire time. _________________

Italy for 2 months, that must've been great! Sorry to hear about what you went through tho.
I had a similar experience last year. I was molested by 2 hot girls 20~22 years old. One kept rubbing her boobs on my back while grabbing my ass, while her friend kept rubbing her butt on my crotch. I took me a while to go back to normal. At least a week, just to get this grin off my face. _________________

Actually, in Italy, that stuff is pretty common. Italian society is pretty male dominated society, and Italian men are horny bunch anyway. (Understatement of the year )

It really was great. I studied art there.

Yup! I went to a club my first week there... never went again.

As Musa said, it's pretty normal there, but I also found that the Italian girls knew how to handle these types of situations, and I, being a foreigner, and never considering the implications of riding a bus, nor having been brought up with "internal guards", was completely shaken. Mind you, there was another incident that happen to me on my last day in Florance that was way worse. _________________

We must track the dirty gaijin who come to soil our shores. Death to all foreigners! Banzai!!!!!
FINGERED -- TV celebrity Kazutomo Miyamoto tries out the new foreigner fingerprinting system at Narita Airport. As a Japanese national, Miyamoto will not need to have his fingerprints taken when the new system comes into operation from Nov. 20. (Mainichi)

O! It's all done by machine! Here I thought they were gonna finger print everyone with an ink pad. I'm so ol' school. _________________

Tabana spends all his spare time on trains, hoping to be molested again
Reminds me of this:
Quote:
Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you.
Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking 19-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping items into the trunk.
They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts.
It is impossible not to look.
When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say "No" and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot.
You agree and they both climb in the passenger seat, one sitting on the other's lap.
On the way, they start kissing each other ...
Then one of them turns to you to perform the nasty with you, while the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen March 11th, 13th, twice on the 15th, on the 17th, 20th, April 3rd, 7th, 16th, two times just yesterday, and very likely again this upcoming weekend as soon as I can buy some more wallets.

Did you by any chance lose your wallet that day? _________________

These 'molestations' are the oldest tricks in the book used by pickpockets in Italy, especially in crowded buses.Italy is known to have one of the most notorious and sly pickpockets in the world. They prey on innocent, unsuspecting or naive tourists, and will go to great lengths to get that wallet. Next time you visit Italy or anywhere else for that matter and somebody continuously rubs his/her body against yours, keep an eye on your wallet. _________________
