It's -2C right now... but it's going to hit a low of -14C (that's 6F). It snowed all last night so this morning, after shovelling, I enjoyed a little play. The snow has settled beautifully. Looks just like a christmas card outside. My bro went out and took a few pictures (with the new digi came I bought him. hehe)

It's snowing and for the first time in 2 years we have a proper snow-cover of 30-40 cm. I really need to upgrade my shovelling tool:

Beaten

I was born and raised here, so it doesn't seem that bad to me. But thanks. Mr Green

We tend to get flash flooding here too being on the hills.

Nope...I live on a hill...mainly rock, but still possibility of mudslides. They're anticipating power outages too.... I think I'll take Mission Blvd...taking I880 would be crazy with all the wind....

I don't live on a hill, but my place is is on the higher part of a slight grade. so no worries... Unless we have a Noah's ark type storm. Beaten

Besides, it's the city, not some rural area...

That's true. The area I live in is very urban, but it's actually part of the county...nestled between San Leandro and Hayward. I don't know how Alameda county's response is if there is a Noah type flood, hehe
