suzzy: it's a given that most people only know Yamapi. He's the one with the highest profile, even before NEWS debuted. He was the most popular Jr, and still continues to be popular. Of all the members, he is the one who has the most activities outside of NEWS, so, yeah, it is logical that most people know him. It is frustrating at times, but, at least, on the bright side, the others are getting to do a bit more work too, and although there are fans that are Yamapi-only fans, well, at least they are kinda supporting NEWS when they buy albums/singles for Yamapi, or go to concerts for Yamapi ^^;;. _________________

fa.. Agree with you... for the fans,Yamapi was like a ticket so people will know NewS, Buy their CD, and go to their concert... for the Members.. yamapi was their motivator that influence them to work harder...
karin-chan: well like I said before.. I like Yamapi most... Ryochan the second.. while the rest was at the third. meaning.. like them all hi hi hi.. even if you ask about uchi and kusano, I like them so... uchi with his unique and kusano with his dance.... _________________

hasn't posted for very long. just want to say that the other members are gaining popularity too, its not all about yamapi now. for example, someone posted in baidu that in one of the concerts, shige's uchiwa was the first to be sold out. that says something about the other members right, that there are not only yamapi fans around. and also, from the many concert reports where the audience can ask questions, a lot of them say that their favourite member is ryo. see, again, not yamapi. so yeah, news is not only yamapi! i love tesshi XP(i know its random) haha. oh, and i think massu purposely sounded like that in MSSL, oh, and i have to add, i watched it live! i mean, i was in japan when it aired i think the MSSL performance wasn't so bad...at least yamapi was in tune =X
also, i like this year's countdown. mainly because they mixed poeple from different groups singing other groups' songs. and there are a lot of kinki songs hehe. and i like tesshi's new hairstyle, he looks more like a guy now.

konichiwa!!....just when i started watching nobuta wo produce that i liked akira(yamapi) so much...he's really great and he's really cool in kurosagi with all the swindling things...
and when i heard his voice for gomen ne juliet, daite senorita and colourful...he just melted my heart...
and i think NEWS' songs are really great and i started to like yuya and massu aside from YAMAPI....
so with these can you inform me bout news and YAMAPi
im really inlove with him(err....its kinda childish but that's how i put it)hahahaha _________________

yep! uchi's going to star in a drama entitled Isshun no Kaze ni Nare. It's going to be aired on Feb. 25-Feb.28... so good luck for him... _________________

Uchi, Kusano no longer "trainees"

During the press conference for the recently announced Fuji TV drama "Isshun no Kaze ni Nare," it was revealed that Hiroki Uchi and Hironori Kusano have officially graduated from their "trainee" status within Johnny's Jimusho.
Both Uchi and Kusano were removed from their groups and demoted to trainees after being caught for underage drinking. They finally returned to action in last year's musical "PLAYZONE."
"Isshun no Kaze ni Nare" marks Uchi's graduation from being a trainee. Johnny's currently plans for him to go forward with a solo career. Meanwhile, Kusano is still attending Hosei University, but preparations are being made for his own full-fledged return. No definite plans have been announced yet.
At the press conference, it was also revealed that Saki Fukuda will co-star with Uchi in "Isshun no Kaze ni Nare," and Ryo Nishikido will make a guest appearance.

I heard its solo activities not a solo career...
besides to think of solo career of kusano or Uchi.... gomen ne I do doubt.. after a suspension then solo career??? if because of the drinking that make them popular yeah.. but if because their talent, I don't think so... It doesn't mean that they don't have talent, yes they are.. but not enough for them to be as a solo artist... besides we can count how many Johnny solo artist... Johnny wouldn't dare to take this risk... _________________

really.... aside from the above statement, people are used not seeing them, so they might go "huh?" upon seeing them go solo. Good thing for Kusa to enter a university, just in case his showbiz career will go down the drain. With Uchi, he could go back in Kanjani8. but wait.... what about making them a duo "Uchi and Kusano"... hmmmmm..... LOL!! _________________
