You can, he was as famous as Takki at that time! I got the Jr concerts and in 1999, you can obviously see though Takki was the Jrs Leader, it was also obvious that he and Subaru shared the same spotlight. _________________

Well Takki was JE's golden boy and technically a senpai to Subaru. Plus, Subaru had his rebellious stage that caused him and the rest of top Kansai Jrs to withdraw from the entertainment industry for almost a year and returned to Osaka. _________________

Should be pretty accurate, though there are some stuff that need to be edited.
ok thanks. It's even hard to keep up with everything that happens now, it's harder to keep up with everything that happened before. everybody seems to have been in JE since they were three years old..

Haha, and maybe get yourself some tissues too because these guys have been through a lot and suffered a lot, of negligence and heartbreak and favoritism and being regarded as second-class in Johnnys just because they're open and free and from Kansai. They're a bunch of people who had it the hardest among Johnnys (with an exception of SMAP) to get where they are now. And sadly enough, even with last year's success, they're still struggling.
For a sad time, I don't have to wait for my free time. yesterday I read some info in wikipedia about them..and its bring such a sad sad feeling in me. Especially the part where Subaru, Yoko and Hina come back to Osaka and done part time job to continue their life, Yoko's life story where he helps take care even paying for his brother's education, Ryo and Uchi's called to be part of NeWS, Uchi's scandal..all of this bring tears for me. Kinda sad thinking of how they survive and try their best to be part of entertainment industry. So many challenge they have to face on and so many thing happened before they stand as a Kanjani 8. And this thing bring me closer and closer to Eito. I love them..and the most important is, I love their friendship especially Yoko-Hina-Subaru's relationship.

just to add something... these boys are said to be the closest group in je... they are always having bbq parties.. their friendship is tested in time. i read somewhere before that ryo-chan even cried in front of the other boys bcoz he felt he didnt took cared of uchi in his crisis... awww... _________________

Oh yeah, speaking of Yoko-Hina-Subaru, the 2 first boys seemed to be still close to Tackey, they greeted him in his bday and even gave a testimonial for Tackey [remember the post i had before WD?], meaning that Kanto-Kansai rivalry was a thing of the past for them. im just wondering whats up with Subaru? still bitter? hehe _________________

Didn't Subaru went with Hina to see ONE last year? Takki invited them on stage and both Subaru & Hina 'took over' the MC like it was their own which made Takki said they're really noisy. I guess Takki & Subaru are on speaking terms again, just not as close as before. Well, Subaru got his own best friend now in Yasu, besides other members of Eito. _________________
