Yeah, I've only read book 1, but I agree Hatsumi needs a shake. That girl needs a backbone. I still like her though. And poor thing, she has to put up with lots of crap.
I've got books 2 and 3 on the way. Really looking forward to them!

i've finished the Hot Gimmick and i really enjoyed the characters. those boys are so kakkoi and Hatsumi is so lucky because she's surrounded with handsome boys..

Oh yeah, those guys are certainly cute! Even that unpleasant Tachibana son.
I've only read vol 1, so I know this could change, but so far Hatsumi doesn't seem to realize how cute she is to guys.

hmm.. never read the manga before but it sounds like Hana Kimi, Fruits
Basket, ouran High School Host Club and Saiounkoku Monogatari.. u know..

hahaha..yeah, she's just too plain to understand that her brother, her best friend (the model) and of course, her stage partner are falling in love with her..(gome, i forgot the names).. and i also love the dark side of the story.

Ooh, "stage partner"? I haven't got to him yet.
I can see Hatsumi's model pal is so falling for her. She's being weird though! And letting Tachibana walk all over her.

Yeah, I think I'll be wanitng to read Hot Gimmick through to the end too. I've only quickly looked at my next two volumes, but they look fab.
Note: did you see Stevie mentions Vampire Knight a few posts ago?
I'm gonna start HG vol 2 when I've read more of my Sgt Frog 3-in-1 volume. I loooooove Sgt Frog - he's a cute little beast. I love the interaction with his host family.

the stage partner refers to Tachibana Ryoki...
if i'm not mistaken, ryoki falls for her when they do the stage play at school.
but when i keep reading the manga, half of me want her to be with her brother and another half she looks good with ryoki.

Did you noticed Shinogu's face when Ryouki told her mother not to harass
her when he's not around? it seems that finally Shinogu was accepting their
