I just finished the final episode of the season and I must say that this drama is definitely going to be one of my favorites!! It never dragged, all the actors were great, the soundtrack was amazing, the story was awesome, and the execution was well thought out. It would be really hard me to find anything I didn't like about this drama Sweat The last half of ep11 was so touching the whole way through! Puppy Dog Eyes Shameful Cry Lucky for me, I've been downloading all the Nodame videos I can find so I will have plenty more Nodame to go on. And then finally I will watch the SP Victory! Peace!

I was paying attention to the smaller details and when Nodame was in the competition, I noticed something cool. They showed the clipboard with her name on it, along with her birthdate. It just so happened to me my birthdate as well, only Nodame is two years older than me Mr Green

If you loved the series then you'll love the specials...well I think you will anyway. You'll definitely squeal at the comp near the end of the second special.

@bmwracer 61 more posts and you've got yourself an ominous number of posts.

It would be nice, but I'm not that hopeful... I would think Juri-chan and Hiroshi-kun want to move on with their careers...

Hiroshi has probably the least worry about this, seeing as he's been acting longer than Juri in come really wide-ranged roles (Water Boys, Last Christmas, and Nodame were all VERY different, whereas Juri's roles in Jodan Ja Nai!, Swing Girls, and Nodame were somewhat similar). Juri is the most in trouble of being typecast, so we'll see how her performance in Lost Time Life goes, ne?

Hmm, you didn't point out that her movie roles in Joze to Tora to Sakana Tachi, Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi, Rainbow Song, and Shiawase no Switch were against type....

She's only been typecast in J-dramas, since the viewing audience is geared more for ratings than quality.

That's kinda what I was implying there, as I hadn't mentioned any of Hiroshi's movie work either. I'm not saying that Juri doesn't have the talent to be a varied actress (the Nodame SP actually broadened the character IMHO), but as far as mass-media is concerned, she has been kinda shoved into a single spot.

Just finished the manga, and I still want more...darn it why isn't there more Nodame in the world?

The way Chiaki treats her is just mean (speaking for the series, Special, anime and manga.) he could show her a little more affection...

I think that's true for most actresses/sctors... The public accepts and likes her/him in a particular role and she/he gets pigeonholed...
