Checked all 24 pages of the Japanese Dramas forum and didn't find the topic. Also ran a Search which didn't help, so hopefully, this is where I should be posting. If Admins need to move, feel free.

I'm desparately looking for Women of the Onsen, series 4 and 5. Fingers crossed I already have Women I, II and III. Need to find 4 and 5. If anyone has an English subbed version, hopefully with good translations and good video quality, please PM me asap.

Since I'm not very good with computers, Doh! I can't do a trade but I'd be willing to pay "almost" anything for it. Crazy Regarding payment and reliability, Eve and Hanashimi have given me permission to use them as references so please contact them if anyone has any questions. I've dealt with both of them numerous times under my real name, Jason.

Thank you.

Whoa, been a long long time guy.... How's it going?

Uh, if you're looking for trade, buy, etc. maybe this should be in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum.... Unless this thread is also for discussion of the series... Smile

Hi BMW,

Yeah, it's been a long time ... haven't really kept up with what's going on at JDorama.com. Been watching doramas when I can though. Ran into Women recently and really enjoyed it so that's why I'm looking for IV and V.

Hope you're doing well.

As far as I know, only the first three seasons of Women of the Onsen have been subbed. That's because they were shown on KIKU-TV in Hawaii. I asked KIKU if they were going to air seasons four and five, and they said they had no plans to do so; this was over a year ago.

If I recall, one poster on the KIKU website stated he had copies of seasons four and five, but they were not subbed.

That would have been me. I have seasons 4 and 5. I went down to the Japanese video rental and rented the VHS tapes, and then ripped them to DVD. The quality is B, considering that the source was VHS tapes that only God knows how they were treated before I got ahold of them. I also had to apply TBC correction, so overall they turned out great. I have received one PM at D-Addicts this past week asking if he can fansub them. I haven't written back to him yet, but will do when I come up with a plan.

Wow, that would be awesome if you are able to let that person fansub them. I loved the first 2 seasons (3rd was ok, but too silly for my taste) and I was hoping that KIKU would air the remaining seasons, but apparently they preferred bringing in some crappier programs instead. =T

Thanks for offering this info. That would be great if someone were able to fansub them. I hope you're able to work something out. I suspect there's a lot of WotO fans out there, especially in Hawaii where it aired.

If I recall, you also stated in your post that those two seasons were pretty good. That would certainly increase people's desire to watch them.

Hi Groink,

That's great news! Applaud Thanks for replying to my post.

So, is there any way I could entice you to PLEASE get IV and V fan-subbed through your source very soon? Fingers crossed I know it's partly dependent upon another person but like I said in my original post, I'm desparate and I'd be willing to pay almost anything to get my hands on them (subbed of course). Whatever you can do to help out would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
