It's supposed to be a "B" as in billion instead of an "8" but somebody made a typo. |
Very funny!

Are you sure it's a typo or a Freudian slip? |
You've got a good point. From what I understand, the price of tin cans and string has skyrocketed!!!

I started a new job last Thursday!
I was on holiday in Mauritius for 2 weeks I came back on the Sunday. Went into an agency on the Monday sent in my CV Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon they phoned me saying they had a job! Could I come in? And did I want it?
I really needed money so I said yeah!
Next day I started work ><
My first day well and truly sucked! I hate being the new girl, but after a few days I'm enjoying it a bit more, the works not rivoting but it's only to get mes some monies til I head off to Uni in September. I have some cool friends there now so yay <3
Basically I'm doing some simple Data Entry job for a stationery company.
Work 915 - 545 -.- but I've learned to deal with it... last day before the weekend yay! (Is heading off to London =D) _________________ Anata no subete wo shitte imasu - MC KAMIYAMA

"How about hiring more people to help out?" I asked... She tried to deflect the question with some BS about being more organized and efficient.
Apparently those guidelines don't apply to her or any of the other managers. |
Hmmm, must be the phase of the moon, today we got a corporate email about too much redundancy, we need to re-organize (that would assume we're organized to begin with, ne?) etc. Maybe if they got rid of tech support in India, we wouldn't have to repeat everything, but that hasn't occurred to anybody in management.

That's pretty much what it was... I have never seen a boss who is so in love with their own voice...
If there was a garbage can nearby, I would've started puking into it.

ThatLs just awful! Either itLs for all staff or none or delocalised per site.
One of my companyLs values is winning together! LOL I am lucky to work in the marketing department where we actually apply this but the rest of the company is pretty much at war against each other!
From an anthropological point of view itLs interesting to see what people are willing to do for recognition or power.
