I am one of those who did not like FF8. FFVII's story was better, but considering the graphics and gameplay I think that I enjoyed FFX better. In either case I played those games several times.

No.

I think Lain is ok, but overrated. I found it a bit confusing, dull, and it's depiction of cyberspace to be retarded. But I'm a little picky Smile

There's much better animes out there.

For a much better concept of cyberspace in the future, see Ghost in the Shell - Stanalone Complex. It good! None better, in that respect anyway.

Man, I don't think I've ever really noticed this thread, more or less replied to it.

Call me "Furui", but the last animes I've watched was Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball, and Ranma.

Seen Slam Dunk once or twice, but it never caught my interest. Too bad, my friend from Japan was really into it. ('bout 10 years back or so) I bet he could've really hooked me up with some Slam Dunk stuff when he went back to Tokyo then. Oh wells. Rolling eyes

the Slamdunk Anime is really draggy IMO.
if i were to discover slamdunk through the anime, i doubt i would like it too. i first read it through the Manga and it was really good!

Just saw Gokusen - the Anime. It is much much better than the show. They should have incorporated more of the Yakuza identity into the TV show like the Anime instead of the plain focus on school events.

which means you just started reading manga??
oh man!

even though i don't own alot of mangas, i consider myself as a manga enthusiast. i've started reading them since i was around 5-6 years old i think. there are some things i can realise the moment i read the manga which is kinda hard to explain...like whether is the author female/male, who it's meant to attract, etc.
the only thing i can't notice is the "drawing style" or the author's weakness [eg. naruto's author admitted that he's bad at drawing motions] because i just don't want to notice it. i mean, why should i? i'd rather ENJOY the storyline then notice these things.

so, how come i don't own alot of mangas?

1) it's unfortunate that i can't understand chinese even though i have 50% chinese blood. so i wait for malay translated mangas to be released back home in malaysia.

2) during those days, they only release certain titles....DORAEMON in particular. man that blue robot cat's a classic!

3) english translated mangas cost too much for me....during those days at least! now i'm willing to spend on mangas like "maison ikkoku" and "blade of the immortal"

ooh, another long post from me.

after a long hiatus (almost 2 years), decided to try and catch up with Inuyasha a week ago. There's like 146 eps released and i've only watched upto 54 when i stopped. Gonna take me a while to clear this one. Wink
I wonder when they plan to end the series? This is definitely the longest anime i've watched aside from One Piece.
