Even you offer 2k, I won't sell it :p

But if it's 200k, then it will be different!

ps: I have sold some discs of my collection (sold about 2500 cds) for about 2.5k ... yeah, you hear it right, I am quitting =P

shinigami_X:
currently episode 3 and up is not complete yet. please wait til there are further updates through this thread for future releases.

to satisfy your gokusen needs, i suggest people watch the anime series in the meanwhile. (it has been subtitled up to episode 9 already) Beaten

Well if you guys need an encoder or a timer (sorry but I don't really trust myself as a translator) then let me know. I'd be glad to help.

Finally found the thread I was looking for Sweat

Well if there is any work left to be done (excepted translating, since I'm barely getting the meaning by watching raws) I would be glad to help out.

Hi, I'm helping to esub gokusen. I started with episode 5, and am about 60% done. Not too bad after three sittings.

I'm getting the first two esubbed episodes from Quatregael, but would also like to get gokusen special esub. Anyone willing to upload it to my server?

there are some folks here who have trick 1&2 on tape. you could probably trade with them.

anyway, back to gokusen...
how long does it usually take to do the timings when you have the subs ready?

Except ... I don't have a tape player. I only watch stuff on my computer. Sad

You can do the timings independently, although when I do it, I normally do the script first. I don't know about Windows software, but I'm writing a subititle edit mode for emacs, and I can do rough timings in about 2X time (so if the show is 1hr, it takes me about 2hr to do the timing).

if its manual timing, boy it takes awhile, because you have to listen to each actor/actress say their line and record that down.
usually i try to avoid this and try to get the timing from elsewhere (dvd source, vcd source).
but for me it takes around the same amount of time , 2 hours roughly. Bang Head

vibius: you dont have a VHS player?? whaa.... i know its ancient now, but i still have 2 of them plus a bunch of VHS tapes that i need to transfer to dvd.. Beaten

BTW, I forgot to mention to you that Prince was kind enough to send me the timings to the 3rd ep. Beaten I'll be e-mailing them to you. Also, did your DVDs arrive in the mail yet? I know Japanese shipment can be really slow...

Nope, no VHS. I had one back in 1990, but I gave it and my TV to my mom after I found myself watching too much crap. That's pretty much when I stopped watching American TV altogether.

Now I only d/l stuff to watch on my computer, while I'm programming or surfing Smile I stick mostly to Japanese shows because I want to learn another language.

I did end up getting a used TV a couple years ago, so I could watch DVDs ... but I haven't used it in a year or so.

You can get the special here : http://www.verycd.com/forum/t/8141.shtml (the page is Chinese but the Special is original Japanese dub)

and the subs from kloofy's site here : http://www.subs.2ya.com

I hope it's not forbid to add the links here. If so pm me I'll remove them as soon as I can.
