Hey B, just before I hit the sack, went to Juri Chan's official site and saw and update in the 'report' section, just been updated with 2 pics. No idea how to post that, but you gotta see her outfit...

Really interesting - "Nodame" was plaid and brightly colored. "Ruka" is solid colors. Notice how it extends to the out of character shots...

I've heard this 'Taiga drama' a lot - what is that? I did a quick search and saw something about it having to with historical fiction.. but what does it mean *here*?

Taiga dramas, produced by NHK, is basically jidai-geki, period dramas lasting for about a year (usually 49 episodes)...

They're very lavish dramas with lotsa big name stars... Based on historical facts, but a considerable amount of artistic license is taken for dramatic effect...

Regarding Juri-chan, if she were to have a role in a Taiga, would she parade around in a kimono or similar for the entire one-year run? Beaten
