Right, so I got a cheap (official!) copy of a globe album, Faces Places.
I haven't listened properly to it yet, but omg, the lyrics. The English ones, anyway. I mean, I'm not knocking anyone's language skills (I only speak English myself), but lyrics saying that smoking cigarettes is cool are just dumb.

The same day I got that disc, I also got UA's Dorobou (I've Romanized that). Ah, some wonderful songs on there. One of UA's more laid back efforts, but great nonetheless.

Yep, I've seen it. I agree - you can hardly hear Kumi. Very disappointing.

But, I'd love Kumi to become more well-known in the West. In the UK, most people haven't heard of her.

Oh, I just presumed the song would at least be released in America, what with Fergie being on it. And then I thought it might be noted in the UK.

I have hand-picked all of them, and I especially recommend older songs and from lesser known artists (since they often are one hit wonders with awesome songs)
