It doesn't take much for Cuban to be pissed. Two straight years of losing in the first round? I feel bad for Avery.
I dunno, I'm sure he'll get a job somewhere else, and since George Steinbrenner doesn't own an NBA team, whoever he works for next can't possibly be as big a jackass as Cuban.
Ray Allen couldn't buy a bucket in the fourth, and Joe Johnson hits a nasty three at the end to keep the Hawks alive for a game 7. And props to the Hawks defense for letting Rondo have the last shot.

And Pierce fouling out with minutes left...
Wow, the Celtics get extended all the way to seven games... Whoda thunk it?

Well, I don't have that much of a problem with Cuban, other than he was a bit too meddlesome with his coach. But, at least he was passionate about basketball and actually invested many millions on the team...... Unlike some billionaire owners out there.
Imagine if the Celtics lost Game 7 to the Hawks. This might be the biggest upset in NBA history between a 1 and 8 seed.
It'd be almost as heartbreaking as the Pats losing to Giants in SB after undefeated season .... Oh wait, that happened.
Boston fans ...
that for sure will be a really huge, and i mean HHHHUUUUUGGGGEEEE, upset if that happens... much bigger than last year's Mavericks-Warriors series...
imagine a team with the worst record among the Play-off qualifiers, having more losses than victories, defeating the leagues top team with 66-16... _________________
My my. Defending champs go down in Game 1, with Duncan scoring 5 points. David West goes off for 30 against the Spurs big men, and Chandler looks to be a good matchup against Duncan.

Expecting the chippyness next time around...
There shouldn't be any panic in Spurs-land: the Hornets are just holding serve at the moment... A Spurs win in game two gives them home court.

Playoffs are here! First Round starts today!
Here are my predictions for the 1st round.
WEST:
L.A. over DENVER ................. in 4
DALLAS over NEW ORLEANS .. in 6
SAN ANTONIO over PHOENIX .. in 7
UTAH over HOUSTON .............. in 5
EAST:
BOSTON over ATLANTA ..... in 4
DETROIT over PHILLY ....... in 4
ORLANDO over TORONTO ... in 5
CLEVELAND over WASH ...... in 7
1st Round is basically complete! My picks, looks like they were not TOO far off, unlike some previous years.
Predicted the right winners at least, except I didn't exactly expect the Hornets to be as formidable as they are. I still thought Spurs/Suns was gonna be a lot closer of a series ... but the "Sun" seems to be setting in Phoenix.

i hope so because if it doesnt, they will be in a very deep hole. hope duncan shakes up a little bit in the next game.
Celtics/Hawks: With the kind of game Celtics is playing right now, i doubt if they can even reach the conference finals. Let's see if they can get past Hawks later when they host the 8th seed. Im routing for the Atlanta and cheer for the biggest upset of the century(Dallas/Warriors game in second place).
Cleveland will have a great chance against Atlanta, but not against Boston... Okay, Atlanta's giving Boston all they can handle, but who's gonna help out LeBron when Boston collapses on him?
Gehh, Hawks roll over in Boston, 99-65... What a joke.
The Jazz give all the Lakers they can handle, but the Lakers win, 109-98... It shouldn't have been that close, but the Lakers gave up 25(!) offensive rebounds... You're not gonna get away with that stat very often and win the game...

I thought they were better at rebounding now with Gasol and Odom?
Oh, and the report on ESPN says Kobe's getting the MVP...
