i get that placeholder as well, but if you follow this link: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/torrents.php you'll be able to access the forums and torrents.

How did people find that out????? Cool!

Looking at the torrents... It appears that at least for http://www.d-addicts.com/bt/tracker.php/announce, that tracker is up and running.

Looks like it resolves to 207.36.232.16 if you want to fake it.

1) The announce URL stays exactly the same. No worries!

I just tried seeding a show, and it worked with no changes, so option 1 may be indeed be the case.

Quote:
2) The announce URL changes, but Ruroshin can change the URL in the torrents.

It is easy to change the announce url in the torrent with the script btreannounce.py that comes with the official bt client. (or you could use an editor as long as you change the length field Smile )

Anyways, it all looks pretty much back to normal from where I'm sitting. Yippee! Applaud

are you getting a message like the following

Quote:
General Error

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 535 5.7.0 authentication failed

DEBUG MODE

Line : 131
File : /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/forum/includes/smtp.php

i get this after submitting some posts at d-addicts but my posts appear fine...also, vibius sent me a test pm...since that error message came up when trying to send a pm...everything seemed okay except for the fact that that error message came up after sending the pm...also...i didn't get an email notification of a pm being sent (i have my settings set up for that)...but all in all i was able to post and send private messages

Ah! you figured it out. the smtp.php module is obviously what sends the email notification that a PM has been sent to you.

People who have been seeing this error must have the "notify me" option set on PMs and threads.

Should be easy for Ruro to fix.

fixed that error.

I can't connect to d-addicts right now (the DNS on the Navy network may not be propagated just yet), so I can't say for sure what will happen. The state of the torrents all lie in whether or not the announce URL will be EXACTLY as what's embedded in them. So three things could happen:

1) The announce URL stays exactly the same. No worries!

2) The announce URL changes, but Ruroshin can change the URL in the torrents.

3) The announce URL changes, and Ruroshin can't change the URL in the existing torrents. So an upload of fresh new torrents with the correct announce URL would be necessary.

Which of the three will prevail? Hard to say from my end. I'll have to wait awhile before I go home and access d-addicts from my Road Runner connection.

I'll be going for number 2! But haven't gotten to that stage yet. Currently working on the upload code and the torrent stat retrieval code. Stats like seeds/leechers/completed will no longer will be realtime but updated every 10-15 minutes. Speed stat will probably go because not all trackers support that.

Looks ok to me, I just downloaded a couple torrent files to reseed, and it worked.

Strange, from what I know, it's not working quite yet. The website seems to point to the new server, but is empty...

Could be you have stale DNS info ... I think the new IP is: 65.75.184.61

If you reboot, you'll probably pick up the new address, or just use the plain IP till your cache expires.

It's up. You probably have stale DNS info.
Can you access it via the raw IP:

Ah, I see...the redirector on the page d-addicts.com redirects me back to the old site because of the stale DNS. Thanks for the confirmation.
