Anybody have more Juri-chan pics with her in those potato sack dresses? Apparently most people don't find them appealing, but I think they're quite a unique style.

Just finished watching Jounetsu Tairuku..

Makes me appreciate her more after watching. She's just your normal average girl with a cute face but when she's filming, it's a completely different person. The truth is, for me, she's not the type that you will quickly like on a first look. The first time I've watched Nodame(The reason I discovered Nodame is because our oke instructor is watching it and told us to watch it too!), I didn't really think much of Juri-san but the character she's portraying and the story of the series. I thought it was exaggerated but funny nonetheless! I didn't finished it because I'm not really a j-drama fan(the very first j-drama I've watched and finished was Hana Yori Dango 2)and watched the anime version instead(I'm an otaku afterall! : hehe . I found out that there was a Nodame LIVE Europe SP and I watched it since I've read the manga and thought it would be nice to watch it LIVE instead of just reading it and also because there's no Season 2 in the anime version. So I've watched it. I enjoyed it because of the funny exaggerated scenes of Nodame and Chiaki and the classical music they used in it(I like classical music!). I'm the type that only like watching because of the movie/series itself but not the actors/actresses involved. This is actually the first time I liked an actress(Juri-san) and search for all the information about her. I ended up admiring Juri-san very much and it all started just because I wanted to find out if she can really play the piano. After searching and searching, I found out that she like music and can play the saxophone so I was like "WOW! Amazing! She must really be a musician! Must find her live piano performance!". I didn't find any so the question is still not answered about the piano. So, I've search and search and found out about Swing Girls. I thought it was interesting so I watched it. I love it! But I still don't know if she can play the piano. I came across the Bistro SMAP of Juri-san and Tamaki-san. I found out that all the actors involved except for Juri-san and Tamaki-san is just acting and impersonating violinist, etc movements. Also found out that Eita, Asami and the others are all actors. Thought they were really musician that auditioned to get the role. Back to Juri-san, found out she was skilled in the piano but eventually found out that she was just acting also. I think she did played some of it but not all specially the hard pieces. Too much explaining. After all this searching, I didn't know when but I started to like her and thought, "Hmm.. this gal is very talented. I think I'll watch her other movies or series." This is we're Last Friends enters. I was checking her profile in wiki so the Last Friends link was directed to wikidrama. I checked out the cast and found her second on the list, character name - Ruka. Must be a main character. I looked for her on the small picture posted on the page. Long-haired girl(Eri), not Juri.. left guy(Takeru).. center guy(Ruka!: hehe .. long-haired girl again(Michiru), not her.. and right guy(Sousuke). "Hmm.. must be a love-triangle but where's Juri??? Thought she was a main." Mind you, that time I still don't know who are on that picture. I read the synopsis, "The boyishly charming Ruka was a classmate of Michiru's in junior high school." "Boyishly? Don't tell me..?" I clicked the photo to enlarge it then.. "WAHH! Mine-kun!! Wow! Haha! One-down. *looking carefully at the two remaining guys and definitely think the "right guy" is not Juri then gasps* NODAME! Is that you?!!!!!!!" I still can't believe it so I've searched about Last Friends. Search. Search. Watch ep1. Then, BAM! I fell inlove with her character Ruka. It was a shock how different her Nodame with Ruka! What amaze me is that after just seeing Juri-san as Ruka in LF episode 1, her Nodame image is completely out of my mind! I was like "Who are you?". And this is where I entered her "Forest of the Weirdos". I really really really admired Juri-san! She's really an amazing actress. After waiting for Last Friends, I watched all of Nodame LIVE ACTION which I neglect before. Watch her other movies and fall deeper and deeper into her forest. Haha! It's a little scary how this turning out though. Admiration might turn into obsession!! Hahaha! No no no! My boyfriend is jealous as it is! Hahaha! But DAMN, Juri-san is really good-looking(specially her Ruka look)! He even told me that someday I might say, "Let's break up! I think I'm homo and I love Juri-san!" Well, he got a good hard smack in the head!
Well, just wanted to share how I started to like Ueno Juri-san. Hope I'm not being too much. I have this habit of explaining too much when I'm bored and right now, I'm really really bored! Hahaha! PHEW! This is long. _________________
