First, I'm impressed with your courage to rewatch this really sad movie.
Second, I'm impressed with you taking your time to translate that.

Well done! w00t!

i even gave up watching some of the shows, just because it was way toooooo boring...

well...I'm used to watching variety shows without subs (because most of smasma shows I have are RAW Shake Head ), but the good thing is it helps me improve my japanese ^^

It's easier to watch RAW variety shows than dramas or movies.

yep.. at least a hundred times, i heard. but it is not too crazy if you think it this way.... the drama is more than 10 yrs ago. so approximately, the fan watched it around 10 times a year, once every month. hehe
but still, i am impressed.
my highest record of rewatching a drama (which is a HK drama) is 4 times.

Yes! you're right.

Well, I used to watch at least one episode of my favorite dramas every day, but I don't do it that often now.

Btw, regarding 13 no Tsuki, I still don't really get why it's called "13 no Tsuki" Crazy

OMG, qnuy! glomp Pat Pat Pat
thank you soooooo so much!
i'm so sorry my selfish request has made you rewatch it 3 times & shed tears Shameful Cry
gomen ne Cry

btw, the first time i watched 13 no tsuki, on the kassy leaning-against-the-hospital-wall-helplessly part, i got all teary-eyed just from listening to the way he speaks (although i don't understand a thing except that he's scared to die -- from the word "kowai"). his helplessness & tearful voice really made me wanna jump into the screen right away & hug him! Puppy Dog Eyes

eeeeh, really? just by watching RAW smasma shows, you can learn japanese? sugooiii! Wow! Thumbsup
i've watched lots of RAW videos & yet I still can't understand anything other than the very simple, overused words ashamed
you must teach me!
i'm really amazed that you can understand all of kassy's lines (in 13 no tsuki) so detailed... your japanese vocab is great! Good

chokakoi wrote:

honto desu ka? why doesn't it work for me, though? Head Scratch
when i watched fukuyama's show without subs, i don't understand at all what they're talking about.. Shake Head
maybe i need to increase my dose of japanese shows in order to learn more hehe

chokakoi wrote:

OMG! Wow!
i could never do that! especially not with InK, because i can't stand kotoko's loud & irritating voice whenever she shouts "irie-kuuun!" and whatnots.
so annoying to my ears. i feel like shutting her up each time she does that! Smack!
the only drama that i can re-watch more than 1 time without getting bored (since i can easily get bored, in addition to being impatient) is nodame cantabile, and that's largely because i love classical music & orchestra (and tamaki there is so hawt! Smitten )

i found a nice review about 13 no tsuki here: http://camukaba.wordpress.com/2007/07/25/13-no-tsuki/
the writer wrote something about the relationship between the concept (13 months) and the story.. maybe that might help you to understand.. (although it doesn't work for me, since i don't understand the story except for the big picture)

haha... the first time I watched InK was nearly 10 yrs ago.. and it was dubbed in chinese, so I was not too annoyed by it, plus I realised I didn't complete watching the series (missed out 4 episodes out of the 9) when I rewatched it again 2 mths ago... however, I find kotoko-chan really funny... after a while, I can laugh just by seeing her appearing on the screen, without her having to speak or do anything.. haha..

oh.. let me digress a little... i like nodame cantabile too! what a nice drama! but my fav in the show is Ueno Juri... she is sooooo cute!!! what a wonderful actress!!!

No problem dear. I don't mind watching the movie again Smile And thanks thanks a lot for the wordpress link. Now i understand the meaning of 13 no Tsuki. All I can understand is this part only while watching it

On the 13-month calander, there will be just one day, a day which does not have a date or day, a blank day. On that blank day,... Crazy

you have an account in wordpress too? lol! I think we are connected everywhere, in LJ, in MP and wordpress. I do have WP but I don't publish my entries Bleah

About my japanese, well...I've been learning japanese for the past 3 years but I think I only make slow progress, RAW movies/dramas/variety shows help me a lot.

chokakoi
I find Kotoko-chan is so cute too. I really love her character there. She's soooo adorkable hehe

And about Nodame Cantabile, I think it's everyone's favorite drama. Fell in love deeper and deeper with Tamaki Hiroshi there hehe

yes, juri-chan is a great actress! she always did well in all of her roles & she can be a different person in each of her characters. i always love her acting in all of her dramas, even if the drama itself isn't that good.

*lol* i'm a techie, i have accounts everywhere! yippee
especially in all the popular web 2.0 services: you name it.. twitter, tumblr, flickr, vox, friendfeed, plurk, etc etc etc ^^
i'm still in the process of putting the list of those scattered online networking sites to my domain.

i have WP account, but i don't have a journal in WP (well, actually i do, but it's for my private diary).
i keep my online journal at livejournal.

so tell us please, qnuy! Puppy Dog Eyes since you seem to understand the relationship & meaning already from that WP blog..

qnuy & chokakoi: so you guys are taking japanese lessons formally?
the hardest part for me is reading the kanji! meh, i'm really bad with kanji Bonk

I forgot to add..

Regarding the video Marriage Simulator in tudou I mentioned earlier... I re-watched it again directly from tudou, and yes I was right: it wasn't finished. So it wasn't my download. The ending in tudou's video was cut (unfinished). Not by much, though, but it did make me confused, because I didn't get a "finished" feeling.

Anyhow, the one in cuti's youtube is complete, if you wanna see the complete ending ^^
