Wow, interesting plot. I wonder if they'll do it convincingly?

I was able to get the episode 1 RAW, and then couldn't find the subs for the series.

These are all standalone episodes, right?

Yup.

The group that was subbing the episodes, Candypop, suddenly put everyting on hold in favor of subbing some Ueto Aya drama... Grumble

Some other members at D-Addicts jumped in and provided some subs... One in particular, Episode 4, starring Juri-chan. Victory! Peace!

Watched episode 4 already. Decent premise, and I liked the execution of the whole thing.

Small highlights that made it worthwhile...

- Juri-chan eating uni. That is indeed tasty stuff.
- The small touches in scenes with the umpires. They just get tired holding that clock up, don't they?

The other episodes now seem worthy of watching after this one... hopefully someone decides to fix up a decent episode 1 sub.

Check around... I think some of the other fans/members took over the fansubbing since Candypop put it on hold to sub the Ueto Aya drama.

What a bunch of Lame-Os.

They did, but only for episodes 3, 5, 7, and 9 so far. Hopefully they're also completists as well. Mr Green

This drama might look crappy and ridiculous, but I really enjoy those episode that comes with subtitle especially Childhood Friend (epi5) and Hikikomori (epi9) was really great.

They have a new thread up in D-Addicts with the subs for episodes 1 to 9, but without episode 2. From what I read there, episode 1 and 2 have already been hardsubbed by Candypop, hence it's not as urgent to get softsubs out for 2 anymore.

Looks like I'll finally be able to watch those episodes I got...

Candypop really dropped the ball on that project and it was their first project. Shake Head

Doesn't bode well.
