Have seen those a while back..it's ok but Zatoichi remake is far more better. I'd also like to see Makai Tensho the original one made in 1980's or something.

there are 3, and haven't seen any of them. Are they really scary?
Which of the 3 do you recommend?
Wizard of Darkness
Birth of the Wizard
or
Misa the Dark Angel
How would these movies rate if released in American theatres? PG-13 or R?

Hey, sorry off topic, but I was wondering if you were the same Mazinger from the Kiku TV board?

Hi,

I've seen Birth of the Wizard and Misa the Dark Angel and I like both!

I haven't seen Wizard of Darkness yet but from what I have read of the reviews this the best of the three.

If it were to be released in the US it would get an R rating and they are more gory then scary!!!

Hikki's long awaited and the last Japanese track before the English album, Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro. The song is the theme song to the upcoming scifi action movie, Casshern, directed by her own hubby. The song is released on 21st April but it's already available on the internet, at Bunko's Mr Green

I'm currently listenin to it as of writing.

Thanks for the warm welcome back! The internship ended a little while ago, back to school. I've had an idle mode enabled in awhile, followed the forum but not participated in the conversations. I won't quit on jdorama Smile

As for the Hikki's song, it's pretty good! A pop ballad flavoured with an acoustic guitar, a piano and a violin in the background Smile Hikki's voice is so sooth! The song resembles her Final Distance. It's been a year since she released the last single, Colours. Great to see Hikki's comeback!

*Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro, repeat mode enabled on winamp* hehe

Exactly what I'm doing right now. Won't be too long until I've memorized all of the lyrics like I've done with the rest of her songs. Watch out, big Hikki fan coming through. hehe

On another note, I can't wait to see Casshern. Looks pretty cool. Of course, Hikki's new song being the theme song is an added bonus. hehe

I noticed that there is a 2 disc special edition. Is that version worth it?
Are the extras on the second disc good, and does the second disc have english subtitles? Thanks in advance.

The second disc is basically "making of" footage. There are interviews with the film director, the writer of the comic, many of the actors (mostly the young actors), the CG staff, costume designer, etc. There are no subtitles (at least not that I saw).

Personally, I thought it was pretty interesting, especially the parts where they explain about having learn to use their katana.

Actually I did not enjoy Versus as it is again one of those All Action and No Story movies. In fact, it is painfully slow for an action movie. The best way to describe it is Resident Evil (or Biohazard) in a Forest, only worse. There are way better movies out there to watch so don't waste your time.

wow, condescending a bit.

I thought it was fun, not a great film... but fun. There was a story, not grandiose, but definitely present.

So, I recommend "wasting time" if you have it to waste.
