Well the movie will be released in theaters in September, I believe... Who knows when it'll show up on DVD... Maybe in time for Christmas.

Well, Naoko opened in theaters in February, then on DVD in July... If Guu-Guu showed up in December, that would be really quick.

Just a random thought: If Juri can take a role of an ugly person (like Betty la Fea/Ugly Betty) and come out convincingly ugly... then she shall be the most beautiful actress on earth <3 yah dig me? XD

I hope to see more roles for her. I don't know if she has a "theme" for roles (like Johnny Depp's eccentric roles, Jack Nicholson's psycho roles, etc.), but I believe she's versatile enough to do any role beyond the ever-adorable Nodame. And I do hope she will squirm out of the Nodame shell (you can kill me for liking her Ruka role XD).

As of now, aside from the "ugly Juri" role, I want a MATURE role her for her. Prolly a corporate boss? >

I think ruka is already a mature role. Even though she might be gender confused but she is still very mature and knows what she wants and what she doesn't.
I do agree on the ugly role part for juri, though. It would be interesting how they would be able to turn HER ugly. xD That is pretty much impossible, but I guess if you can make people look pretty you can also make them look ugly. But that, I think wouldn't be a very demanding role. There are tons of movies or series based on an ugly flower girl who'll have to fight against bullying or anything like it. I would hate to see her play a weak character. (thinking back to michiru. xD )

PS.: I guess, you're not the only one who likes her as Ruka. I too, think that Ruka is one of the best characters she has ever played. ^0^
