I can see that,Sasuke being a hero at the end and then dies,Maybe Naruto is going to be killed by Pain but Sasuke saves Naruto but gets killed by Pain, then Naruto goes crazy and kills Pain and the other Akatsuki Members but i also can see that a big fight of Naruto and Sasuke.I just hope there is a awesome ending of Naruto

yeah i see the big fight too. but the saving thing, if it is going to happen, it's kinda old. it's been used a couple of times no?

funny thing about Naruto is i actually enjoyed the parts which aren't about naruto more. the Hyuuga clan souke bunke thing, what happened to Gaara, the new Sakura (the Sakura X Chiyo fight was da best...)

hmm... since you mentioned it, have you Stevie, or any of you guys read a shounen manga that has an awesome ending?? if you have, please do recommend me one. even Dragon Ball and Rave didn't have a good ending IMO, though the process was an enjoyable ride.

they've made jillions off those mega-series. they dont need nor care about the ending. They've probably forgotten what the original manga was about by the time those types of series end.

The Yotsuba volume is in French, though?

Yes...I thought you meant the French one. Sorry about that. Sweat

Quote:

Tekkon Kinkreet's text isn't that much if you're talking about the lead characters, since they're kids. The exposition involves just the right amount of dialog, and the characters don't really go into very long diatribes to get their point across. There will be some chapters where there's not a whole lot said, but that's not to the whole storyline's detriment.

There's something quite cinematic about how Taiyo Matsumoto paces the panels in Tekkon Kinkreet, in that you don't feel like you're missing anything if there's very little dialog. Whatever's said in the manga is done with very fluid and visceral artwork, and somehow you might find yourself trying to pay more attention to the details since his panels are packed. The scenes just play out well enough to keep you moving and engrossed.

I find myself wondering how much better it would all look if it was all done in color, which is why I'll try watching the movie in a few days to see how close it looks to how it was laid out in the manga.

Thank you for this! I decided to order Tekkon Kinkreet after all. I haven't heard anything bad about it, so I'm hopeful I'll enjoy it. Having said that, I did see quite a bad review of the movie. But that's just one review. Big Grin

I've just ordered a few books (had a bit of dough to spend!). I decided to try a couple of yaoi titles. One is All Nippon Airline: Paradise 3000 Feet, which sounds hilarious. Heck, if I hate it, I'll just sell it on ebay. hehe

I'm currently reading volume 1 of Welcome To The NHK, and it's proving a little disappointing, I have to say. It's not bad, but not as wonderful as I was led to believe by the gushing reviews I've read.

If anyone wants a Yaoi title with an actual storyline, I recomment Restart by Shouko Hidaka. It was wonderful!

http://www.amazon.com/Restart-Yaoi-Shouko-Hidaka/dp/156970726X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1219091431&sr=8-1

(ignore the 3 star review!).

After reading Ito's Gyo, I'm having a whole lot of trouble finding the appropriate adjectives to describe what I just read.

On a related Taiyo Matsumoto/Tekkon Kinkreet note, I was ecstatic to find the two English volumes of his series No. 5/Ikki... only to realize that Viz released a total of two English-translated volumes out of what was an eight-volume series.

God Dammit

Typical. Shake Head I've got Tekkon Kinkreet still to read. I need to read Yotsuba&! volume 7 first, which came from Amazon France today. Victory! Peace!

Ooh, I recently read Shiuko Kano's I'm Not Your Stepping Stone, which is an extremely saucy yaoi title, and it was excellent. Now I also have Maybe I'm Your Stepping Stone to read (that came today too, lol).
I'm turning into a Yaoi Fangirl. Shocked rofl

You go girl Dancing

I read very few mangas over the summer - but I bought the Paradise Kiss omnibus in French. Loved it since I am a fashion victim myself but everybody else should stay away.

What's wrong with Paradise Kiss? Just reading about it on Wikipedia, it doesn't sound bad.

Roflmao @ "hentaitraders" rofl rofl
I got I'm Not Your Stepping Stone from here -
http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/WEBSITE/WWW/WEBPAGES/showbook.php?id=1934129127

Omg, I would NOT recommend I'll be Your Slave - it was appallingly bad. bleh One of the main characters - who was being pursued - was soooo boring and seemed half asleep all the time. I thought - why would any guy be interested in a guy who only rested?!
All that happened was the chasing guy waited on the sleepy guy hand and foot. There was some sex, but I hardly cared, as the rest of the book was sooo boring.
I was so annoyed, I don't even want the darn book on my shelf anymore. U Suck

Well Monta, I'm really new to yaoi, so I don't know a lot of titles. But I have to say that I have noticed there's a predominant style of guys depicted by yaoi artists that I've seen. Like they all have heart-shaped faces, big eyes, long eyelashes, and usually longish hair, with big waves in it.
Like are you looking for maybe less "pretty" guys? I'll keep a look out and let you know if I come across any.
Victory! Peace!

Oh my the hot scenes in Stepping Stone....I was like HOT! Wow! Drooling

I have just read these yaoi (not all finished) : Restart, View Finder, Poet Wasn't Made in a Day, Double Face, Kishido Club, and Under Grand Hotel

sorry to say but none of the had a good story. some of them were actually dumb and sounded like a whole bunch of stupid make up excuses just to get a di*k up in someone's ass.

Under Grand Hotel was probably the strangest coz it was all sex in some underground prison

Restart finally has a dude with really short hair

I have picked up Lady Snowblood and Drifting Classroom.

Drifting... is the manga on which the jdrama Long Love Letter is based on - but you canLt really compare the two. The manga is more a Lord of the flies story whereas the drama has more soapy moments.

I am really excited about Lady Snowblood, a classic from 1972.

I just finished reading the first volume of ItLs your world - the story about a Japanese teen who has to live in Paris because of his dadLs work. HeLs going to a French highschool and has difficulties to adapt. The mangaka, Junko Kawakami, came to Brussels on Friday for a meet and greet, but I couldnLt go because of work. Difficult to tell your team "I am going to slip out for a bit to get my manga signed" when your are a 33 year old marketing manager Beaten
