I just read some of SMAP song in English and all of them are very heart warming and the meaning are deep. Maybe SMAP are very particular with the lyrics and the melody that is why the are always on top. ZUTTO ZUTTO, ORANGE AND SEKAI to name a few of my fave also DAWN but haven't read the English lyric yet I LOVE THEM ALL _________________
I'm having a stopover in Tokyo for some sightseeing & my planned stay coincide with the concert schedules at Tokyo Dome, so with God's grace, I hope to get concert tickets and watch. It'll be nice if I see them upclose. I don't mind if I watch the days' duration over and over again and give up some of my sightseeing itinerary, this is the much-awaited SMAP concert tour.
I could go to a concert in Osaka, if I can get tickets. Anybody has any idea how to buy the tickets?
Would be nice, if we could meet up for the concert, no?

That's the constraint for overseas fans, we go there without one and hope for the best to get it by chance. But since one is already there, in one way or the other, one can buy from fans who have spare tickets like having sudden commitments and wouldn't be able to watch. This is because being fanclub members are exclusive to residents of Japan and overseas applications are not allowed. Unless one has relatives who can have themselves apply for membership and buy the tickets when concert season arrives. Though this is still not a sure way, because awarding of tickets to fanclub members are still through raffle. So sometimes, there are fanclub members who are also buying since they are not lucky enough to have their names raffled. _________________
Chances are you'll meet a lot of people in a journey, but it's nice to know you're able to touch one's heart in a positive way in the short time friendship began.

Shingo Katori succeeds Yujiro Ishihara in "Kurobe no Taiyou" adaptation

It was rumored in July that the 1968 film "Kurobe no Taiyou" (directed by Kei Kumai) would be seeing a live-action television adaptation. Now, Fuji TV has formally revealed its plans for a TV version next spring.
The original movie starred Yujiro Ishihara and Toshiro Mifune in a recounting of the construction of the Kurobe dam, the largest dam in Japan. The film was a huge success during its time, but according to Ishihara's wishes, it has not been seen outside a theater since the original theatrical run.
SMAP's Shingo Katori is taking on the lead role, filling in the shoes of Ishihara. Kaoru Kobayashi will co-star in place of Mifune. More cast details will be revealed at a future date.
A concert and a drama Shingo would be very busy, I hope he would look into his health. We don't like what happen to Nakai during the POP UP concert. Well Shingo's dorama is still a long way to go in April. He'll be getting quite some rest when the tour ends. _________________

Sure it does. One just really love SMAP so much to expend a lot in going there and staying (we know for a fact that Tokyo is the most expensive city in the world, or if there's one who got the title, still ... it is really expensive in terms of accommodation and how to go about while there) plus the cost of concert tickets if one is not lucky enough to buy from fans, plus the albums, concert souvenirs, magazines, etc. It is really a journey to catch them in their concerts _________________

A friend (Nortaku) send me a copy of her collection of smaxsma and utuban and I can't help but to keep smiling when ever i think of the utuban episode were SMAP is their guest. Minna spare with me coz i have to tell you about it or else i can't sleep. SMAP guest at Utuban and Nakai tell his co host that its SMAPs 20th yr. Theres this portion where the other invited guests (all onna) to ask SMAP and one question is IF THE MEMBERS KNOW EACH OTHERS BIRTHDAY. When the answer was shown only 4 answer yes so theres 1 who doesn't know all their birthday. Nakai got curious who ask the question and why she ask a model raise her hand and told them that she is curious coz SMAP has been together for 20 yrs. Nakai ask her who she want to answer and she pick Shingo (Here is the hilarious part) Shingo answer by first his birthday, then Nakai, he answer that Nakai's birthday always fall on concert season then he think... Tsu who got irritated and told YOU DON'T KNOW REALLY SERIOUSLY Tsu's birthday was given as a clue but still Shingo can't tell exact date just the month, The Goro's birthday he answered April all the others are shock
Tsuyoshi was ask he easily answered Nakai, Takuya, Shingos birthday but forgot Goros birthday Shingo butt in and ask ARE YOU SMAP Tsu answered BAKA YOU DON'T KNOW ALL OUR BIRTHDAYS
