HAHAHAHA!!! Just the story. I cant get myself to like the story... but then I was like that with maou.
I didnt like the Arashi movies such as their pikanchi movies.

Heehh... you're 'different' indeed^^ But each people, of course, have their own tastes^^
I'm not really an Arashi fan, but one of the reason why I came to know and love them as a group, was because I loved their individual dramas ^v^ Gokusen, StandUp, Yoi Ko no Mikata, Hana Yori Dango, Maou, and I still find Arashi members always have ones of the most interesting dramas, even to now. I don't purposely watch most of them only because they're Arashi members' dramas, but somehow I find myself ALWAYS interested in their dramas ^.^

Interview with Kudo Kankuro:
-I said before that since it's a mystery and the readers know the murderer already, I'm trying to change the way to film the drama. It will be a different world than the original book.
-In the opening, the children in the original book didn't get to see the meteors. Since the drama adaptation is abt visualization, we decided to show the meteor showers.
-Since Koichi in the original book spent most of his time in the house, I make him having a part-time job at the curry store. And I'll increase the setup of the unrelated brothers and sister. (maybe it means he'll increase the moments that show the siblings' bond?)

Hi! I'm new here! and I'm so so sooo excited for this as well!! i love kudokan and the cast seems pretty awesome too. i think. i'm such a sucker for mystery-ish dramas.
this could be just me but i can't help but wonder if it's gona be played out like IWGP. both IWGP and ryuusei seems like it will be tackling more serious issues but IWGP was presented with a twist of dark humour, i'm really excited to see how nino and ryo handles kudokan's version of the characters. also, it feels like they'll be going on different missions each episode and yet maintaining a main plot like what happened in IWGP. i totally don't mind if that's the case coz i LOVE IWGP, yeah even when the death of some characters were more difficult to handle than others, i still enjoyed it. come to think of it, the main character in IWGP, played by nagase tomoya also began his whole misadventures with his misfit friends in search of the person who killed the girl he sorta had a thing for, like the ariake siblings in search of their parents' murderer. gosh, i'm beginning to see alot of the possible similarities between the 2 dramas now. which is making me more anxious for the drama.
anyway, thanks for all the updates and rumours on the drama guys! ANY hints and tidbits for this drama is love!
edit: and i guess i'll join the group of people who thinks that it'll be cool if they stick with david bowie for the theme song. i mean how cool is that! here's to hoping for an awesome soundtrack to accompany the drama. kudokan's drama always seems to have nice music.
let it be about Taisuke & Shii instead or another love story. they can totally love each other just as siblings dammit!

There's an explanation from other fans who has also read the interview with KudoKan, that since the original book didn't really make a big deal of the fact that the brothers and the sister are not related by blood, he will put more emphasize on this matter. Hmm... maybe he'll make Shizuna grew up without knowing the truth? And I hope this means I'm wrong about what I thought x) _________________

The only drama that I've watched Ninomiya in was Stand Up!! and I didn't really like his character.On the other hand,I've watched a few of Nishikido's dramas the latest being Last Friends and I've to say his acting is not that fabulous except in 1LoT.However,after reading yanie_chan's translation of the original book,I think I'm really looking forward to this drama.Hopefully,the actors and actresses can put on a good show and make this drama enjoyable.Can't wait for it to start!
