I hear ya... I've been re-watching The West Wing for the past month or so... Probably because we've got an election coming up...
How appropriate! It's good to change it up once and while. I was getting tired of the redundant plots, the girly-boys, and the excessively cute adolescent females. I'm glad I'm coming back with Kita... Kura. _________________

Yup. That's why I stopped watching dramas for a while and switched to Japanese film & anime. No need to burn out watching the same contrivances which inevitably get recycled these days.

Fa real. And I find Japanese Movies a lot more experimental and creative than Japanese dramas, which is understandable in a way, considering format and duration. _________________

Up to ep 7 of Zettai Kareshi my biggest complaint:

That damn subplot about the cream puffs!!! Sometimes they talk about that more than the relationship between Aibu and Naito. It's like they can't decide which way to go
Oh God. That was the WORST storyline and they just *had* to make it so freaking long! That was my biggest gripe about that drama and I should've fast-forwarded it, but I was afraid I was going to miss out on something. The only thing I liked about that show was whatsherface's interaction with Night. I couldn't have cared less about her prettyboy boss.

On Topic: I've finally finished watching all 5 seasons of X-Men, so I'm back to watching dramas. That was a good three month hiatus. I left off watching Kita no Kuni Kara, so I'll be going back to that.
Wow. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't wait for you with watching Kita no Kuni kara. You're going to like that drama because it's a lot different from the usual fanboy/girl stuff. Too bad that drama isn't on this site yet.

I really should start watching movies between dramas...
On topic: Watched up to episode 6 of Itsuka Mata Aeru last night. Something about it reminds me of Over Time, but with more love triangles and one-sided loves. I want Masha.
Also watched up to episode 3 of Yasuko to Kenji. Seems a bit repetitive at the end of each episode, but I like it so far. _________________

Actually, the fact that you completely blew past me without waiting ruined my enthusiasm, hence why I stopped watching in the first place.

It is... but in fragments. I'll clean it up when I've finished my current "To-Do" list. _________________

I just realized that it was 5 years ago today. September 28, 2003, I was sitting at home, bored out my skull, flipping thru the channels, I get to channel 44 and it's episode 1 of Hotman. I thought, "This is pretty good" and the rest is history. To mark the day, I'm going to watch episode 1 of Hotman all over again. Nostalgia is good.

Wow. You can pinpoint it to the day? natsukashii ne!

WOW! So I owe it all to Hotman! Without that drama, I would never have met you! _________________

Today while I was trying to do homework, I focused more on watching Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi 2. I watched the first one yesterday. _________________

I feel so horrible for suggesting that we watch it together and just watched it so quickly. I originally thought that you would've done your 3+ episodes a day, so I felt I had to keep up. I should've paid attention to your posts in this thread. Sorry about that.

Cool! I wanted to write a small blurb about what I thought of it, but couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks for updating with the info.

How do you remember the exact date? I can't remember when I first saw a Jdrama to save my life.

With the exception of Shiro (and one of the episodes), I thought that the second Tsubasa was boring.
On topic: Fifth episode of Yasuko to Kenji. It's cute and cheers me up a bit, so I don't care that it's repetitive. _________________

So Yasuko to kenji still worth to watch then? Does cheer you u mean that it's funny en make you laugh?
Currently watching Rookies, not bad.
en also kimi hannin janai yo ne. It's make me laugh out loud, but the plot is almost the same that the detective always seem to fall in love at each episode, but still not regret watching it

It's a fun drama. Just don't watch it if you're looking for anything really deep. Reminds me of Zettai Kareshi, My Boss My Hero, and dramas like that. So far, I'd give this an 8/10. _________________

I second that, itLs very manga-esque. I still have to watch the last episode, which I believe hasnLt been subbed. In the meantime ILll start Yaoh.

Wow... don't feel upset. It was no big deal. lol Besides, you finished it quick, which means you really enjoyed it, so I'm totally looking forward to continuing it.

Well then, I guess it's on my list to watch, yasuko to kenji.
I prefer some light n fun drama instead of the deep one, though I'm watching last friend xp.
