I just randomly stumbled upon "Tsuhan Man" aka "Shopping Hero" it seems funny enough-though the main character's super hero costume totally reminds me of the Hamburgular.

LOL.

They broadcast that show on TV here a few years back... Didn't watch all of it, but the parts I did see were pretty funny. Smile

There's a pretty good reason why there are no seeders for Nyokei Kazoku.

It was really an awful show. As in bad. As in dreadful. As in... DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW WHILE SOBER!

I thought it was pretty good. Can't say that it really has replay value unless someone wants to rewatch it with a different perspective though.

So did I.

It was frustrating to watch, but the satisfying ending made it worth it, unlike.... Ehh, I won't say it. Not telling ya!

Caught up on my Netflix movies, then went back and finished Code Blue. Good show, enjoyed it. I will probably catch up on my next wave of Netflix deliveries and then finish Last Christmas.

I've just finished a couple of shows:

Bus Stop: Bit of a effort to finish this one through to it's inevitable conclusion. Mediocre at best, it's flimsy premise is stretched to breaking point. Uchimura Teruyoshi as the bus driver starts out endearing, but ends up being just annoying. Yanagiba Toshiro is criminally under-used, although I could watch Iijima Naoko all day, she's simply stunning. I never did work out who Uchiyama Rina reminded me of.

LIFE: Dark, shocking, compelling, involving and has some real depth, although sometimes lacking in subtly. Best not to think about the plot too much as it has holes large enough for Uchimura Teruyoshi to drive his bus through. The ending was particularly effective, showing there are never any easy solutions. Great direction and use of music.

Just watched Kujira to Medaka (SP) with Tanaka Kunie and Shida Mirai.

I didn't have much expectations, other than that the description sounded interesting. It was surprisingly enjoyable. I was impressed by the acting. Shira Mirai was lively, but she was particularly impressive in the emotional scenes. Tanaka Kunie, I don't know what it is, but I like watching him. And they really clicked and get on. It was simpler than I@expected by the end... But nevertheless I thought it was good. Thumbsup

Also watched a couple of episodes of Mada Koi wa Hajimaranai

Star-studded, but I thought it was just so-so, so far. I like Sakai Maki even more though. Anything good with her having a bigger role? I have seen 4 dramas with her, but she played a supporting role in every one of them.

Watched up to episode 8 of Nyokei Kazoku. What a bunch of hateful characters! I hope Fumino gets even at the end. Still, I really like Fujiyo (Takashima Reiko) the best because although she seems evil to the core when trying to flaunt her status around, she also has a naive and vulnerable side, which I sympathize with.

I loved her in this drama, and I loved this drama completely. Every character, and I mean EVERY character, is so evil! Only a great writer can pull something like that off.

I'd like to think so. hehe

I liked it. It reminded me of my family.

Did you like Mop Girl, KT-kun? I made my brother watch it and he loved it. hehe

On Topic: Episode 15 of Shinsengumi. I took a little break there, but I'm back in the swing now.
