Ogata Ken died? He was acting in Kaze no Garden which is airing now. Had they finished shooting?

I liked him and I liked his chemistry with Yutaka in Ruri no Shima.
Too bad... Sad

Hi Everyone,

I noticed that Yutaka's movie "Ano Sora wo Oboeteru" was released on DVD last week. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any versions that have english subs or is region free. Has anybody else seen anything?

You know me Yutakagr, I am just greedy, greedy to see Takeno's work. I purchased "Tomorrow" on ebay and have been enjoying the series even though Yutaka's character seems to take an emotional beating throughout. Perhaps his next project will be more lighthearted. He does very well with comedy....how about a romantic comedy??? Do you hear us Dear Yutaka?

DEIRDRE,
why you didn't ask me?
i could buy the item here and post to you!

actually, Tomorrow is beyond from what i expected.

last time, i just download Ep 1 & 3 only..
then i decided to wait for DVD instead.
i assumed the story will be more relaxing and slow-moving..
so i tore the package, bring my pasta and enter the dics..
sit lazily and watch.
sugoii.. i watched and finished da whole series, direct.. non-stop.
and definitely forgot my pasta!

it's been long time he didn't do fully romantic comedy..
yeah, i wish for that too..
you know what Deidre,
i wish he would enter the stage play world one day.
the world on that side have more and more
interesting stuff for him to explore..

seriously, i'll say.. yutaka is such a .. what should i say..
he is just unpredictable, simply doing whatever he like.
other actors (especially his same batch) gonna worried if there's no offers, if their works didn't succeed or fail to get high rating etc.. to them no job no life.

but he, yutaka takenouchi is just simply come out from the hiding cave and give his excellent performance to his fans.. and then gone back to his hiding. without worry about his fandom, or his job, and never bothered with media, or promo schedule or sowhatever. and yet never get troublesome..! kakkoi ne... so cool!

damn, sometimes i wanna get mad when he never appeared everytime his co-stars doing promo on TV. sometimes i wanna scream "damn where's my LOVE.. what he's doing leaving me behind!!?"
but hukhuk.. he is so sweet to make me angry... my weakness, i bet.

YUTAKAGR
thnx for da photo, i know about Ogata Ken.. but only found the small pic... thnx Elsa.. Applaud Good job!

Hello Dear Nuralisya,

Where have you been hiding? ha ha!!

I just finished watching the series. It was hard, but I tried to discipline myself to only watch one episoda at a time. My husband has been traveling out of town each week to take a class at a university in New Jersey, so I've been watching the series for a little bit before I go to sleep each night.

What can I say? Yutaka turns in yet another excellent performance. I know I've said this before, but it seems that so many of his characters are lonely and distanced from people. Aside from the recent "Kazoku," he is not married or with a love interest, although I am looking forward to seeing his recent film.

The only disappointment I had with the series is that I bought a version of it on ebay ($13.99 US) and although it was a good price, the subtitles weren't consistent. For the first 9 episodes, the subs were great. Then in the last and final episode, the subtitle quality suddenly took a dive. The subs were pure nonsense. I don't know what happened. I guess the low price was too good to be true. But, thanks to Yutakagr, I had the link to episodes on line and watched the final one again to see what I had missed in the subs. Thank goodness, because Yutaka's character says something really cute and flirtatious that was completely translated wrong on the version I had purchased!

I hope that he has more projects soon! He is certainly a talented actor capable of handling drama and comedy. We love you Yutaka!!!

hemm.. i still could find the DVD in store shelf here.. so i managed to get discount from actual price. around $11.9 US per item. sometimes i found spelling error in other doramas.. but for this Tomorrow DVD, the quality subs is fine.

The very beginning kind of put me off. I'll be interested to hear what you think.

Loved the Dydo commercial, Deirdre. Glad to see it, better late than never!
