So did I until I saw this morning's sports page.

I hope the BCS crashes and burns like a tanker truck going over a cliff.

With the BCS games to be aired on ESPN after FOX's contract is up, I sure as hell hope the BCS crashes and burns.

An extra regular season game so the home team can make some more money? No problem. A fifth BCS game? Sure. Willing to take the BCS games off network television just because ESPN offered more money? No problem. Playoffs? Playoffs?!? You're talking about playoffs?!? No way. bleh

This year was such a fiasco that they should just call it the BS series until they come up with a real way to crown a champion.

Two upsets today. I don't think Baltimore winning is a big upset, but still Tennesee had the best record and was playing at home, but Baltimore's D is awfully good. But I can't bring myself to cheer for Baltimore after they way they bailed out of Cleveland. Grumble
But the Cardinals win was HUGE!! It helped a lot the Carolina kept shooting themselves in the foot.

Both home teams lost again... A repeat of last Sunday. hehe

Arizona's looking like the Cinderella team... I'll root for them for as long as they're playing. Victory! Peace!

The President-Elect had the solution: a playoff system, just like they have in basketball... Victory! Peace!

Which bodes well for the Chargers. Personally, I'm hoping for a 'Bolts/Cardinals Super Bowl. Victory! Peace!

Sounds good... But I'll still root for the Cardinals: I hate Phillip Rivers.

Wonder how many playoff office pools have been ruined now the Giants and Panthers are out. Congratulations to the Eagles and while I'm not an Eagles fan, it's nice to see McNabb bounce back after being benched. The Cardinals have been surprising to me, with their defense and a decent running game. Fitzgerald has been incredible for them and while their meeting against the Eagles this season didn't go well, I think they have a great chance to win next weekend.

As for the Chargers-Steelers game, I'm going with the Chargers. Steelers have a great defense, but I'm not sure how Rothlesberger will hold up after coming back from a concussion. Rivers has been playing great and I think he'll do enough to help the Chargers win.

Looks like I can throw my prediction out the window, as the Steelers are up 35-17 with four minutes to go. Chargers started the game off great with a long touchdown pass on the first drive, but that kickoff return by Holmes probably cancelled out any momentum for the Chargers.

They haven't been the same since the Burress fiasco, even though they won't admit it.
