So did I until I saw this morning's sports page.
I hope the BCS crashes and burns like a tanker truck going over a cliff.

With the BCS games to be aired on ESPN after FOX's contract is up, I sure as hell hope the BCS crashes and burns.
An extra regular season game so the home team can make some more money? No problem. A fifth BCS game? Sure. Willing to take the BCS games off network television just because ESPN offered more money? No problem. Playoffs? Playoffs?!? You're talking about playoffs?!? No way.

But I can't bring myself to cheer for Baltimore after they way they bailed out of Cleveland. But the Cardinals win was HUGE!! It helped a lot the Carolina kept shooting themselves in the foot. |
Both home teams lost again... A repeat of last Sunday.
Arizona's looking like the Cinderella team... I'll root for them for as long as they're playing.

The President-Elect had the solution: a playoff system, just like they have in basketball...

Which bodes well for the Chargers. Personally, I'm hoping for a 'Bolts/Cardinals Super Bowl.

Sounds good... But I'll still root for the Cardinals: I hate Phillip Rivers.

They haven't been the same since the Burress fiasco, even though they won't admit it.
