Cheers, it was a quiet birthday, just a curry and a few beers.
Thinking about it, it was on my birthday last year that I saw my first doramas, Ashita no, Kita Yoshio and Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi, and I was hooked. 35 doramas later I'm still hooked, and I'm looking forward to watching many more, especially if they star Natsukawa Yui...

Very sweet of you to find a special picture for me That's probably one of the only pictures I've seen of the Space Needle I've liked!
I know I haven't been here much recently, but it's not because I don't want to be here - this whole working thing, especially balancing a relatively time-consuming roommate (I don't know how long I'll be able to stand this particular aspect) leaves me an incredible dearth of free time and sadly, watching Jdramas and my study of Japanese have temporarily been put on hold.
I'm also even having time getting to the gym and it's pretty frustrating to me. I mean, I'm happy with the way things are going in my life, but I really do like to have the control to decide how I spend my time. It's going to take some time to put balance back into my life, but I know that when I do, I'll find an interesting and diverse community at this site and I look forward to it.
What an interesting year it has been for me: so much change and growth, and so much new!. Thanks for remembering my birthday - not being home with friends and family, I appreciate the sentiments.
Cheers friends! _________________
