Undeserved low ratings, though.
I had reservation about the show (what's that with that teenage genious Fukawa-sensei-wannabe?  ), but against all odds, not only is the acting actually good and the characterization somewhat solid (as solid as you can be with such a premise  ), but also so far the plots of the episodes are entertaining enough to keep me watching.

question do they drop show that have rating this low well only dropping in rates ??

They usually cut series short because of bad ratings- maybe just take an episode or two off the end. They don't stop them altogether that I know of. QED only has 9 episodes though, I believe. Plus it's on NHK so I doubt they will do anything.
