Well so I took the screen out of my iphone 2G to replace it since the lower part was not reacting to touch, one of the so called hardest things to replace and then I broke the most simple thing in the phone :-/ I broke the socket holders for the two antenna wire holders for the receiving of the cell signal now I just have Wifi and no cell signal.. so I ordered a replacement Logic board which should be here around Thu or Friday.

on the good side no more 4Gb for me the replacement is a 8GB board.

I don't know whether to give you a Pat Pat Pat or a Dancing on your post. I hope it works well. That's odd not to have a cell signal and only wifi... Are you paying for the repairs yourself or is your phone still under warranty? Or did you void it by taking the screen out yourself?

It's not even close to being under warranty now.

1) Not sure. I usually don't track PPM for printing
2) Unless you want to help increase the stock I still own, I would choose Epson or Canon. They usually (haven't checked) have individual cartridges for the colors, not a combo pack where if one color goes out you have to replace the entire thing.

AD also said the same thing on the brand/combo pack option on ink. So HP is out the window based on that option. I'll visit ye Ole Costco later...

PPM? I know DPI, but not PPM...

epson cartridges dont seem to last as long as the HPs do at about the same price.. so take that into consideration.

haha way out of warranty.. but the phone has two different antennas so that was to be expected. the screen replacement was $145 and the replacement logic board is $115.

lol a lot of people would of given up long time ago but I have other projects I have to work on too like replacing the screen in navigation unit because the digitizer went out on it.

I gave in, went to Best Buy and got me a Canon Pixma MX310. Reviews online were pretty decent and it was the cheapest in the Canon line.

Hope it works. Fingers crossed
