deleting the file wont do anything.. but like everyone said, try backing up your important files, and run scandisk, fix errors, and defrag.
hopefully the clicking doesn't get worse.. _________________

I have Windows XP. I already tried reinstalling the device and I couldn't install the drivers again, I got the "Severe error" message and Windows automatically restarts. It's either that or I get the "audio installation false" message.
Pllleeeaassse does anyone know about this?
is there an option for you to roll back the drivers? in the device manager? _________________

from my experience, it could also be from that shutting down/restarting thing when u were dling with BT. happens to me all the time but I don't get that clicking sound though. I do hear some noise when I do stuff now though....click the mouse, hear a noise, press a key, hear a noise...from the computer that is
try updating ur network card or getting another one to fix the crashing problem. i've got 2 ethernet cards in my comp and both are useless. the computer doesn't even restart consistently no more, it either restarts or gives me the blue screen that says the same thing you saw. someone from some other forum said because BT downloads and uploads "parts", some ethernet drivers can't read or "support" this function. Some companies have updated their crap to support this, others like mine have not.

oh and for everyone else, defragging may cause more problems. It may cause ur computer to crash even more or at a much faster rate while dling from BT. This would be the case if it's not ur HD but from BT crashing comp.
i no comp wiz but this is all from experience and whatever i found in my search for answers and solutions. Hope they help you. But yea, you should prob back up and format. I would too but I don't got the time

that's a first. if smiley uses scandisk to fix her errors, defragging wont hurt it. it's more like the other way around... not defragging will cause more problems.
smiley also said that when she tried to play that file, the clicking noise appeared.. which means its coming from the hard drive.. (that file is on a bad part of the hard drive..thus clicking is occurring). _________________
Kinda of OT but I've read that "clicking" noise is caused when the read/write heads is docking or something so it's normal. Is this true?
One of my hd makes this clicking noise once in a while, started long time ago, around last year. But there's been no problem so far, no bad sectors or downloading errors or anything.

I tried that, but it said "no drivers to rollback." The computer recognizes the card as "Unknown Device" and I simply cannot install drivers, it just reboots when I do. , my computer has lost its voice ...
Thanks for the advice ppl. My HD was going to die anytime soon. I just changed a new one now. Luckly, I was able to use the HD without losing my datas. Now I just have to find a way to transfer them from the old HD to the new HD.

yup ur HD is dying... if you have 2 slots open on your comp tower just insert both drives in and just drag the files to the new drive...(make you old drive the slave and your new one the master)... either that or burn lots and lots of CDs from your old drive....

Well, if you drive is still clicking, you could still be in trouble down the line.... You should also defrag as well... Maybe the clicking is due the frgmentation of the disc and it's making your drive's read/write heads go bonkers...
I'd still back everything up as a precaution...
Does "filling your HD" to its capacity contribute to its breaking? I have one HD 'bout 60% full and another drive unused. I don't worry. Am I wrong?

Mine's not working either. Just checked it now and I get a box that says none of my contacts are on line. Please try again later or click "Other" to contact someone in your list. _________________
