I'm looking for a cute, sweet, young (maybe students?) drama that the perspective is shared between both the boy and the girl, if possible.

I don't mind if it contains some dramatic points as long as its not too overwhelming.

I'm new to drama, so I'm sorry if this is a broad spectrum. Sad

EDIT; I forgot to add I'm looking for romance drama ;;
my baddd

I haven't seen either of these, but Akai Ito and Koizora are romances about students.

Except, neither one is really sweet, rather both Akai Ito and Koizora are on the dark side. I still would recommend both, even if the acting isn't all that great.

That description can almost cover everything. hehe

Looking at those dramas you listed, I think you may like The way I live trilogy.

http://jdorama.com/drama.804.htm
http://jdorama.com/drama.1036.htm

I don't know if there are English subtitles for them though.

And Hitotsu yane no shita, which is my favourite drama, but also quite similar to hotman in setup.

I just finished watching one of the greatest dramas ever "Hana Kimi."
It was just filled with great laughs and excitement.
I enjoyed it thoroughly.

It was my first Japanese drama as well.
Can anyone suggest similar dramas to "Hana Kimi?"
Comedy type dramas would be great.
Thanks.

I am trying to watch Mei-chan no Shitsuji, but ....bleh ...

I have never read an anime and no intention to do that either. Does that mean that I will have trouble enjoying (current) J-drama's?
