I saw "You're under Arrest" a few years ago and until recently I thought it was one of the worst shows I'd ever seen.
But that was before I started watching Zeni Geba

A melodrama so lame it makes me long to see s show as dumb and dull as "You're Under Arrest" again.

Someone once said, "If you never expect anything, you'll never be disappointed." Thru 2 episodes of You're Under Arrest and I haven't been disappointed.

Never really noticed the similarity but you're right Mimura is great in this and Medaka is one of my all-time favorites, a very underrated drama. OT: having gone from the sublime (Top Sales and Aoi Tori) to the ridiculous (Taiho Shichauzo) trying to figure out what to watch next.
