Kabachitare! episode 2.
I watched the first episode yesterday. Finally! It has been on my drive for years because there are subs for episode 1 and 2 only.
I feel confident enough now to watch the rest without, well I hope .

Ghost Friend EP01.
Not sure whether to continue watching. Kinda cheesy if you'd ask me but maybe Fukada Saki can make me change my mind?
I dunno, I prefer her as slightly rebellious like in Daisuki and her best performance was in LIFE where she was the bad bully. Seeing her as a goody-two-shoe girl is kinda... weird. _________________

Edit:I didn't like episode 2 despite Tokiwa Takako and Fukatsu Eri.

Finished Souri to yobanai de not too bad. Real good supporting cast and Suzuki was great as the ditzy wife!
They're showing Aibouhttp://jdorama.com/drama.708.htm on channel 18. Only up to episode 2 so far. I dunno, I guess I've seen so many American "cop/buddy" tv shows/movies it's taking awhile for me to get used to the Japanese style.

Just finished watching 101st Proposal (Japanese version) that was screened in 1991! It was quite humorous in the beginning and got quite tearful in the later episodes. Well recommended , no wonder it is one of the classics in drama.

I've finally finished the first season of Shomuni. Light, fluffy and enjoyable even if every episode did have the same basic plot. The best parts were the match ups between Esumi Makiko and Toda Naho. I'll get round to watching the others seasons at some point, but I feel no need to rush.
I've been going through the Winter '09 shows which look likely to have full subs which I haven't seen. The first episode of Love Shuffle didn't really catch my attention but I'll keep watching mainly as it's written by Nojima Shinji.
I didn't get past half way of any of the first episodes of Zeni Geba, Honjitsu mo Hare. Ijo Nashi and Voice. I had high hopes for Zeni Geba as it was written by Okada Yoshikazu, who wrote Muri na Renai amongst others, but it was truely awful overly melodramatic tosh and utterly inept in all aspects.
Just finished Love Shuffle and I really enjoyed watching it. The show was funny and there were little twists in every episode that kept me interested in continuing watching.
Okay, I absolutely adore Nagase Tomoya, but this drama was just a drag. It took me SO LONG to get through it! The storyline was weak and therefore the plot simple slumped along. The entire story could have been communicated through half the amount of episodes the drama took.
The cast was okay. No one really stood out and no one did a particularly bad job. Everything was just mediocre. Near the end the plot got interesting, but there wasnft much of a finale and by the end of it all, it was confirmed that, really, I had just wasted 10 hours of my life. _________________
O yea, I also saw Waraeru koi wa Shitakunai. It's so easy to catch up on dramas when the doctor forces you to stay in bed for a week!
Review: 6/10
I donft really get the purpose of this drama. Therefs no resolve and no directionc therefs no real ending.
Itfs as if I dropped down into someone elsefs life, got bored, and left before anything interesting could happen.
To be fair, it had its cute moments and gMamah is hilarious. But I really wanted Shizu-chan to find love. So what if shefs tall and heavy for a Japanese female? It would have been endearing. Instead her heart is broken in all three episodes and in the end, she simply sucks it up because, really, shefll be rejected 99 times before guy 100 falls in love with her.
I guess therefs no hope for us gless attractiveh women.
O! I did really like the Christmas-y fell, though. That was nice.

Hmmm... up next is First Kiss, I guess. _________________
