Asadoras? Actually this is the first season I can remember when there wasn't a subbed version of an asadora running on local TV (San Francisco).
I guess you're talking about a fan subbed asadora.

Re: Love Shuffle. As has been mentioned before -- give it a couple of episodes to get going and I'm pretty sure you'll be glad you did.
But don't don't look for "kooky". Anywhere. Not the characters. Not the plot. And I'd say the set up is a bit contrived, at first. Not bizarre. _________________

Hmph, the English subs aren't complete for Love Shuffle, but the hardsub from Querbeet is... In mkv format.
Where did you download this? Querbeet had them all in avi, I thought. They also had softsubs only available at their LJ group. PM me if you want help getting them. _________________

D-Addicts has the raws in SD and HD format and the Querbeet versions are hardsubbed....
If I could get the softsubs, I'd appreciate it... It'd save the the time of trying to convert mkv files to a form which would allow me to create mpgs for DVD-Video.
Saw the first ep of Smile Not really expecting much from this, I'm not a huge fan of Gakky, but I have to say she was terribly cute in the first ep.
Also watch ep 1 of Yako no Kaidan , it seems like a darker story line, so I'll stick with it to see how it plays out. The acting is pretty solid as expected of a veteran cast. Oh and did I mention Natsukawa Yui, I don't know, it's like she gets hotter as the years go by.

Recently started on The Quiz Show 2 and watched all the way till episode 3. It seems ok. I just don't really like how Yokoyama Yu does his role. That snobbish look and the smile turns me off.
Started on Love Game as well. Shaku Yumiko is hot but other than that it is quite a hollow drama. No continuing plot... every episode seems detached.
For smile, I am still halfway thru episode 1. It feels awkward to see Matsumoto Jun with that "tan".
Watched 1 episode of Boku wa Imouto and figure that I can't continue with it. _________________
Anyone else not liking Boku wa Imouto, I'm thinking about checking it out because of the rave review in d-addicts. Not much of a fan of Nagasawa Masami, I've heard that she is supposed to be a very good actress but I have my doubt. I always skeptical about popular actors/actresses.

but she does impress you with how more and more annoying she gets with every new drama that she does.
Cant argue with that. She was the weak link in Yasashii Jikan as well.
Just watched the first episode of Batsu Kare/One Boyfriend Down.
Really enjoyed it. Takahashi Katsunori is his usual charismatic self. _________________

just finished watching
Shiroi Harou ep2---> OMG, i am SO loving this drama. with this rate, i think i will be start dling the raw just to keep me going until the subed version is out. Abe Hiroshi is one hell of an actor.
and finished Tanchijin ep11, oh, Kagetora, Kagetora, Kagetora. can you be anymore blind about what happens around you than this? for me this ep was the best one so far. just looking at Tamayama in that samurai battle outfit makes you feel
would it be any diffferent if the story was based on him than kanegatsu?
btw, tokiwa looks old in this one. _________________
Ep. 3 of Meitantei no Okite. It's based on a series of short stories (some just several pages) by Higashino Keigo (Galileo, Ryusei no Kizuna, etc.), and is suppose to be a spoof of detective dramas/movies. Ep. 1 is a bit too light weight; probably only mystery lovers will get a few chuckles out of it. Ep. 2 is all over the place; it can't decide whether to be a spoof or just a standard comedy (there're a few spoofs of Ryusei no Kizuna), and relies way too much on 'breaking the fifth wall' to generate any kind of comedy.
Wasn't expecting much from ep. 3, but a change of director (he directed quite a few episodes of Mop Girl) really made the difference. The jokes fly fast and furious with some totally coming from left field (similar to the ones in Stephen Chow's movies). It's absolutely hilarious IMO, although the humor's probably not for everyone. The performance from the cast also helps; seems like they've grown into their roles and are actually having fun acting like total loons. The score is very unique but in a good way; most fun I've had since Mop Girl, albeit based on only 1 episode.
Also watched ep. 4 of Shiroi Haru; I'm running out of superlatives for this drama. Finally, not a drama but I (belatedly) watched Waratte Iitomo - Haru SP. The sketching relay is one of the most entertaining games on the show I've seen in a while.
