Hmmmm wait do you feel like watching? Something light and fluffy, or something serious? I'd match Atsu-Hime with something light and funny myself.

I've just finished downloading and authoring Pretty Girls...

>>cringe<<

Just focus on Ryoko-san and you'll get through this.

Hmmm. It's not set in stone... but focusing on Ryoko-chan wouldn't be difficult.

The brother got too annoying for me in Churasan after ep 10 so Im taking a break.

Watched the first 2 eps of Tetteiteki ni ai wa/True love is....
Its is absorbing. Im liking it. Big Grin
The two main couples are interesting and I always enjoy Naitou Takashi in his varying roles.

Naitou Takeshi's in this? Not really a fan of his, but if I'll consider watching it if it's that good.

Stick with it, Evie, like was posted above he appears less later on and so is a bit easier to take.

I like this a lot especially Inamori Izumi. I had just finished watching her inn Batsu Kare so I became her fan. However, once again I'm in the minority as many folks delight in dissing her. You will see a very different side of her compared to the somber first lady or something in Atsu Hime.

Even though I loved Oba and Eri's parents, Churasan really didn't take off for me until she got to Tokyo and moved in with Miho Kanno, Kimiko Yo and all the other wackos at the boarding house.

I had to look her up in the database - she's not listed in the Atsu-hime cast. I know who you mean now Smile

I didn't like him at first too, but he grew on me as the series went on. The actor who played his character actually put in a good performance. I think he won a Best Newcomer award for his role in Churasan.

Inamori Izumi actually played a few ditzy, supporting characters before she got better roles. She was really good in Long Vacation even though her character didn't really have a subplot of her own.

Im on ep 4 of Tetteiteki ni ai wa/True love is....
Im taken by all the characters. And the pace moves along.
Somehow since it takes places at the Foreign Office it doesnt have the feeling of a regular office drama.

He is so annoying.... Beat You

Keisho comes and goes, like Ralph said. He does warm up to you later, but the whole thing with Goya Man really gets annoying where Keisho is involved.

Goya Man himself is quite charming, I find!

Well as long as he wont be there forever, I'll start back in. I have no issues with the toy. Wink
I love the other characters. Even the n'er do well Dad. Applaud

Agreed. I didn't really appreciate her until Beach Boys, because Pretty Girls was such a bad experience for me. I loved her in Beach Boys.

And that's just getting started. You haven't even experienced the best characters yet! Mariya, Yoko, and Nanako are my FAVOURITES!
