Kind of bizarre to invite you just to blow you off.
Hope it wasnt too awful. _________________

Jeez, how rude of her! I wonder what her motive was in inviting you if she was just gonna hang out with the others...

Yeah, that's messed up... You should give your friend an earful the next time you see her.

They gave me another one without a hitch! I also bought some fancy deco pieces to go into the tank. I'll take a pic once I've got some fish in it. _________________

Should have gone saltwater. They are a lot more hassle, but the fish are AMAZING!

How excellent! I look forward to seeing the pic.
Will you search for the Pets thread?

I wanted to go saltwater. My cousin has a massive tank that is saltwater and has awesome fish and coral and shrimp, etc. I don't think I'm knowledgeable enough though. I've only ever had small tanks that can hold 1-2 fish max. So I'm going to try a larger tank now that can hold about 30 fish and see where it takes me. Mind you, I only plan to have about 8 fish...

That's the word! I need to let my tank settle for a week, but I have no idea where to place it. The thing will weigh about 200lb with water and gravel. _________________

Some place very sturdy, I hope.
Maybe you should look for a tank stand: that way you can store the fish food and whatnot in the storage area below the tank.

I was thinking of those. They would make things look clean and tidy. _________________
