When you say "haven't been impressed with the Transformers comics," you mean the Marvel versions, back in the '80s? Or do you mean the current Dreamwave crop . . . because, I think they're pretty good (the art certainly; the story seems a bit riveting, "the return of the Transformers" and all)? "G.I. Joe/Transformers" is pretty good.

I mean the current Dreamwave crop. I read a bit of Transformers: Armada and Transformers: The War Within. I haven't read G.I. Joe/Transformers but did like the first 2 issues of Transformers/G.I. Joe.

Here are some of Jae Lee's Transformers art:

Pretty sure I did. I don't know though. Those on line auction kind of stuff ain't for me so I don't know if I did a thorough search. Maybe I can tell my uncle to look for me instead. He likes that kind of stuff. Beaten

I highly recommend the re-issue one. You get a mint in sealed box one that is pretty much the same as the original for a somewhat reasonable price.

I've only played FF8 and 9 to the end, and i've played a little of FFX-2. I preferred FF8's storyline to FF9's storyline... perhaps FF8 gave me a more 'human' approach to the game. What i mean by that is ... the characters in FF8 were so much more human-looking, and not to mention, had great characters which resemble people whom i know. whereas ff9's characters were all short (in terms of height)... no doubt they were pretty cute looking, but then... nah.. just wasn't my cup of tea.

However, I didn't like FF8's battle system. I mean, the draw thing was stupid. But the junction system was pretty good... I felt invincible when i used it. FF9 gave me a more traditional RPG feel. Smile

I havent watched Initial D stage 4 yet - just hte 3 stages and the OVA. I think the first stage has the best story, imo. I'll soon find out if stage 4 will prove me wrong. hehehe
