Kou doesn't have a major role in this, but for some reason she scared the sh*t out me everytime she was on screen. This is also Kimtaku's best drama IMHO.
Thanks for the rec, Mark! But, hey--this is me, Kimura FanGirl, right? I've seen
SORA KARA... (or should I say... "A Million... Sex Scenes Falling from the Kimura Sky"? hyuk hyuk hyuk ), in fact I'm in the middle of a re-watch. This drama is one helluva ride, ne?
Not sure if I think it's Kimura's best drama, though... But props to him for playing such a dark and challenging role. I call his character "The Talented Mr. Ryo," lol.
Lolllz @ "she scared the sh*t out me everytime she was on screen"
Shibasaki Kou was actually one of my favorite characters (along with Sanma and Fukatsu Eri, natch). I thought she was perfect for the role. A large part of it may have been due to her (stunning!!!) physical attributes and her own acting mannerisms (i.e. sullen expression, mumbles her lines), but her portrayal of the child-woman Yuki--a contradiction of maddening sexuality and heartbreaking innocence--was highly satisfying and spot-on.
Yebisu: Yeah, SORA KARA... is a must-see! I'd love to hear what you think of it!

I thought he was talking about Last Friends
I don't know if I mentioned it already... I'm currently watching Chansu!, starring Hiroshi Mikami whom I had seen in Proposal Daisakusen. Hallelujah... Chansu ! Coincidence ? _________________

Nah, check out the Post Subject in that post: Something people don't usually worry about
I didn't even know it existed until you just now pointed it out! Only took me five years!
OT: Up thru epi 6 of Ninkyo Helper I don't know where that "rest home" is, but I hope I never end up there. They have more fist fights in that place than they do down on they Yokohama docks!
Despite the warning from gaijinmark, I watched Rikon Bengoshi II. Dude! I am sooooooo sorry! The next time you tell me not to watch something I am totally not watching it! _________________

Seriously, I didn't think it would be that bad because, you know, there was still Amami Yuki, Tamayama Tetsuji & Tsugawa Masahiko, but it was kinda disappointing. _________________

Well, I just finished Ninkyo Helper, and even though I still don't care for SMAP, the show didn't change my opinion of that. Now that I've said that...I enjoyed the drama, the characters were really good, and it had a good story. I'm not sold that this is the way the "Real" Yakuza act...I did really kind of dig that gospel-like music that meant they were about to kick some butt...
Of course, another wonderful performance by Natsukawa Yui! I love her. I forget all the reasons why....heh heh, bad joke...
Now onto more dramas, before going to Gokusen 2, I'm thinking of trying Hanayome to Papa and/or Ningen no Shoumei...just have to wait for the downloads.

Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, who was in Ninkyo Helper is probably the only SMAP actor I really like and I think you'd like him in Koi ni Ochitara...
