Eve, I do agree with you about "Shotgun Marriage." His performance seemed a bit exaggerated. Sames goes for "Hoshi no Kinka" where some of his scenes were forced waaaaaay over the top. But the eye candy factor always seems to carry me through even when the drama is painful....like the awful "Proof of the Man" which was like fingernails on the chalkboard. The only redeeming factor was hearing Yuta speak english in that low, sexy Japanese accent. I suppose every actor has his klinkers. Thankfully, Yuta's seem few and faaaaar between. Just my two cents.

Yep, characters were annoying to me.
EVen our boy....
But it had a slapstick, over the top quality and it is rare that Im into that.

Was this after "Tomorrow?" I couldn't figure out what the timeframe was for the youtube links until I saw them looking at the "Tomorrow" ornament. Can anyone offer a translation of what's going on? All I know is that Takeno looks smokin' in the blue jeans!!
